I should have never come here because the experience started off on a bad note. First, after I scheduled my appointment with a lash technician that had really good reviews, I was called by someone in the studio and told that person would not be able to do it but I could go to another technician. I took the chance and accepted this because I had already carved out time in my schedule for this and my schedule is very tight. I go in and they’re playing loud rap music. I love rap music but when I go into a spa setting I expect to be able to get a spa experience and relax. The girl who did my lashes said she didn’t have a lot of experience so I was willing to give her some grace but she was awful. She kept taking personal phone calls and talking to her co workers over my head and her breath smelled like weed. At the end, my lashes were crooked and unevenly spaced. When I went to open my eyes, one was glued closed. She started trying to use some sharp tweezers to separate my lashes but I told her to stop because I was scared she’d poke me in the eye. I ended up just ripping my lids apart quickly. When I was done with this fiasco the girl was gone. I gave the girl at the front desk a piece of my mind and told her the least my technician could have done was apologize. The girl at the desk tried to smooth out everything by giving me 10% off, smh. I paid minus the 10% and got the manager’s number. I was so upset I didn’t bother to follow up. I’ve been getting my lashes done for years and I wanted a place close to my new home. This whole experience was awful and I will not return or recommend...
Read moreI forgot to leave this review due to the chaos of NYE and after Christmas but I came in the 30th of December and I was on time for my appointment, however I was told that she was with another client and to wait outside for a moment. I ended up having to wait for about FORTY minutes, and when they called me in I saw no one leave the business, (and to my knowledge there is NO back exit because we are on the second floor and the stairs are at the entrance) almost as if they lied to me just to get some free time. This was really annoying because I had other things to do in preparation for New Years. I shrugged it off and thought maybe they’d offer a discount for the wait (they did not) either way I needed my eyebrows done but I would have left on any other day. She worked on my eyebrows but on a job that typically takes 30-45 minutes took her 90. She left me alone for 15 minutes twice, and I’m not including the times that the serum needs to sit. The end result was a half assed job. The brows were barely laminated, by the next day the hairs started going opposite ways. I was unhappy but I opted not to make a big deal out of it, but seeing my eyebrows today really upset me so I decided to write this review. I think the employees could learn a lesson or two in customer services. Krystal was the employee’s name. I have been here twice before this and was overall satisfied but I won’t be coming back because to leave a client outside and lie about having another client for 40 minutes and then offer nothing to make up for the inconvenience...
Read moreI had very high hopes in walking to my appointment as this was my first lash lift. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t was I expected. There is really no privacy... at all - which I did not like in the slightest. The procedure was basic and ended with a decent outcome but there was one eyelash that I guess somehow got stuck in my eye when she initially put down the strip. She was able to pull it out but then I noticed that eyelash didn’t get the “perm/lift” so now I essentially have one eyelash that almost appears droopy to the others. I asked her if there was anything we could do to fix that and she said we would have to do the procedure all over again - which I declined for the sake of time and adding chemicals to my lashes. I was disappointed to not have received neither an apology or a discount on the service. After my lashes, it was time for my brows. I have very thick natural brows and am ALWAYS nervous on people doing them simply because if one brow is pulled that shouldn’t be it dramatically effects my shape. They use a hard wax here - but the girl I was with made it a pretty painful experience. Instead of lifting the wax in one quick pull. It was like she hesitated as she pulled which really hurt! Plucking was also painful as she kept knicking my skin. Lastly, the girl who works at the front desk is just not friendly at all. All in all, I would just say this salon needs to go through ALOT more training if they want to be successful. I don’t not think the services rendered were worth the money in...
