Polish & Blink nails lash studio — Local services in Jersey Village

I have been coming to Polish N Blink for over a year now and never had an issue with the exception of sometimes having to wait 30 minutes to an hour even when having an appointment. Victoria has always come across as professional and I never had any issues with her until today. I always come to get a pedi and my dip along with bringing my daughter who gets the same (spending 135 or greater each visit) I had an appt today to get eye lashes (first time) expecting the one and only person (Julia) to service me with nails, ect... when I get there they were just opening and I waited patiently and then Victoria mentions that Julia had an appt at 10 and if the person didn't show, Julia would do my lashes. If not, she would have to do them herself. She also said that she would ask the customer if she could do her nails so that Julia would do my lashes. When the customer walked in Victoria said Nothing!! She had the nerves to ask me to come back in an hour if I wanted Julia to do them. I really didn't have time to do that because I don't live close and I had plan to go back to work. I immediately was upset and left. I called her and told her that she knew that I wanted Julia for my lashes and she proceeded to raise her voice at me. I don't think Julia or her husband would ever behave in such a way! Unfortunately I will not be giving them any of my business. Customer service is very important to me and today I just felt disrespected...

I came to this place trying it out for the first time and got a full set. I wanted a solid natural color tapered square. I made an appointment with Julia on a Thursday at 4. There was one other customer in the store. Julia is very meticulous and she took her time to do it right. I love the shaping and the acrylic lay. As you can see in the attached photos.

However, the reason why I would give this place a 1 star is because when she filed with her electric drill, she nicked my cuticle/skin. And when she filed with the hand file she was rough and gave me a paper cut. More like sand paper cut. It’s also attached in the photos. There is also acrylic all over your fingers that’s likely due to the acrylic or monomer.

These things were seen as if it didn’t happen. I was not compensated for being cut.

I was told it would be $40 and $5 for shape if I got coffin or added on extra shaping before we started doing my nails.

However, my nails are square so I’m unsure where the extra charge is from. I didn’t ask because I was ready to get out of here. And I left paying $48 dollars for the...

My first and last time visiting this establishment! I went in for a eyelash refill yesterday for the first time. I got there at 3:00, I didn’t finish until 5:30! The lash tech that was refilling my lash spent over an hour on one eye. I kept asking was everything okay because I’ve never experienced a tech work on one eye that long. She worked so long that her appointment she had came and another tech had to finish the other eye. I was exhausted, my legs were locked up and back hurting from laying down that long in the same position. No one said anything to make me feel comfortable. I repeatedly stated that I was uncomfortable.

My lash studio that I normally go to usually takes about 1 hour at the most to fill my lashes so I was confused about why it took so long. Although I was referred to them by a friend, I would not recommend this place unless you have a specific tech that you know could get the job done in a timely manner....
