Premier Meat Market — Local services in Jersey Village

I had a hankering for a ribeye tonight but I didn’t want to go to a grocery store. I wanted a fresh, well-marbled cut of beef. I did some googling and landed at Premier Meat Market. The owner was there and helped me decide on a cut. No lie the ribeyes were an inch thick. I told him that was too much meat for me so he had his butcher cut me a smaller portion. I came home and marinated it at room temp for about 20-30 minutes, got my pan real hot, melted some butter, and seared a fine crust thanks to the generous coating of salt and pepper. The steak didn’t need any sauce. Nothing. Nada. The fat, which I love melted in my mouth and the meat was tender as well. Flavorful and fresh. Worth the money FOR SURE. The owner asked me to leave a review only if the steak was delicious. So here we are. If you’re in Houston, grab your meat from Premiere Meat Market. Did I mention the customer service...

Stopped in for some duck breast on a whim and immediately the staff made me feels so f’n comfortable—like I was a long time customer. (My first visit!)

They didn’t carry it but after seeing the quality of beef they had I decided to get a lil 3 pack of short ribs.

Let em tell you- the marbling was phenomenal. I literally couldn’t leave the store without these darn short ribs in my possession. So I grabbed them.

I kept it simple with a pan seared, sticky/sweet short rib and white rice and my entire family was licking their plates clean.

They even said if I wanted something more exotic, we could talk about it and figure out a price that would get me what I want. This is GOOD business.

I spent less than $20 on my first visit, but I know now that I’ll spend more for the quality, service, and selection premier offers.

I love supporting local businesses and this market is right outside of Hearthstone. I've been here twice now and absolutely love the service, quality of meat and selection.

My husband and I purchased their Prime Ribeyes for an in home date night. We seasoned and smoked them and I have to say, this was the best steak we've ever had. We've gotten some shipped to us from Omaha Steaks - but in my opinion, this one was better.

Tonight I stopped back in for a quick snag of ground beef. They didn't have any in the case but the owner was quick to help. I also recommend trying their Green Habanero Sauce in their cold self. It's great!
