Pretty Shop, Condescending Workers. My friend Gustavo and I stopped by wanting a chill place to talk to enjoy some boba. This was around the evening time around 7:00 pm, we double-checked to make sure we werenāt arriving here during or close to closing. We waited in line and my friend ordered some kind of chicken snack with a regular boba drink. I have a dairy allergy, so I asked if their milk teas were dairy free. Most boba places offer dairy-free cream teas along with slushies and smoothies, I didnāt find asking this question unusual. The cashier looked at me with this look on her face like I had asked her the dumbest question. āThe milk teas?ā She said. āThe milk teas have milk in them, so no, theyāre not.ā I did not like her mocking tone. My friend asked if we should leave to our regular boba place, but I told him not worry since he had already ordered. I then asked what options they did have to which she then just pointed at the fruit teas section on the tvānot even offering an explanation or anything, just annoyed with me asking. I felt defeated and embarrassed so I just picked a random fruit tea. We got our order about 45 minutes later, prompting my friend Gus to ask what had been taking so long. It turns out they had forgotten we ordered the chicken dish and offered some apologies to my friend.
My final takeaway is: customer service is pretty bad around the evening time, the cafe ambiance is beautiful and relaxing, however, the AC is really hot inside⦠they have limited menu options if youāre...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFive stars for this amazing boba spot! Seriously, if you're in the Cypress/Houston area, this place is a MUST-TRY! I've been here 15+ times now, and I'm already planning my next visit. I even came for the grand opening with the lion dance, and the energy was absolutely insane! It was such a fun and exciting experience. I'm hooked on their Mango Yogurt - it's the perfect blend of sweet and tangy, and so refreshing. But the real surprise was their Banh Mi with Egg! Seriously, it's one of the best I've had (i mean it, im vietnamese!!) The meat is TENDER, the veggies were crisp, and the egg was perfectly cooked. I highly, highly recommend it!
The cashiers Sedona and Jayla were incredibly kind and informative, which made my whole experience even better. Beyond the delicious food and drinks, the atmosphere is fantastic. Plenty of seating, a huge plus (tons of outlets!), and even board games! I was able to get a lot of work and studying done on my computer while enjoying my treats, and then unwind with a board game. It's the perfect spot to chill, study, or catch up with friends. And the best part? Everything is priced really well, making it easy to indulge without breaking the bank. I can't wait to go back! Definitely one of the best places to go in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDelicious drinks and amazing service so far! This very community involved boba shop opened recently and is already one of my regulars. Their drinks are reasonably priced with size options for some drinks. My favorite is the Milky Vietnamese drip coffee. SO GOOD. The Thai tea is also amazing!
The food is mostly delicious and reasonably priced as well. I say mostly, because the crispy chicken doesn't have much flavor and heavily relies on a sauce. My husband is not a fan of the offered sauces so we tried to get it spicy hoping for more flavor but we just got a small container of chili powder on the side =/. If your like me and love the sweet chili type sauce with your chicken, then no complaints really.
Overall- I highly recommend this place! ALSO they have the cutest pokemon plushies on most of the...
