Ulta employees need customer service training .. purchased an item on May 7th, returned on the 10th. Manager was unable to return because of the wrong item code coming up with the wrong amount .. actual price 146 refund amount 35.00. Manager called customer service and unable to resolve was told I would have to mail it back to get refund.
I left store and called customer service myself, they said it shouldnât be an issue and to return to the store on Monday .. on Monday the new cs lady said she was unable to help the store give me my refund. the store manager told me to call customer service and to get a gift card for all my trouble and the shipping I would have to pay.
On that day I called customer service and they sent a gift card for my troubles and that I should receive refund for the gift I spent on my purchase .. over the next 2 weeks nothing .. I called and no resolution .. a lot of empty promises and Iâm sorry for your troubles.. when I finally did get my gift card emailed today they took away my first one for all my troubles and the manager from the south Caroline ulta customer service said that my problems did not rate a good will gift card.. that my problems did not meet the criteria of an unsatisfactory service according to their gift card rules.. she always said the store manger should have given me. Gift card and not sent me to customer service .. everyone points fingers and no one stood up to make sure I was a satisfied customer .. I still ended paying for shipping that the store manager said would be free..
Iâm disgusted with your customer service and how no one cared that I spent 150 at your store and followed all the rules to get it back to you .. I should havenât to wait a month for a refund..
You dropped the ball ulta customer service .. and since it doesnât matter if my problems rate a gift card or you fee obligated to please your customers.. I will make sure all my social media friends know about your policies and I will take my business elsewhere .

Had received call whilst driving then text at 11:55 from Ulta cancelling which I have as proof. So went in and same assistant I booked with said ok and told me to take a seat. Then stylist with attitude came out and asked what I wanted as she's going to have to enter it back into computer as she deleted it as I was late. Replied I wasn't late my appointment was 11:45 for 12...she says highlights and cut so I ask same thing as balayage and she says yes. Which in fact they are not so I say I want balayage and she says well I don't have time to do that as I'm off at 4 and have another appointment at 1. So I say so the 15 mins wouldn't make any difference as you are double booked and leaving early so that's the issue. So she then just says well I don't have time to do your hair. Ok went and spoke to manager. Very nice polite lady. Accompanied her back up to salon area where her delightful employee shouts I'm not doing her hair cause she was late and I don't like her attitude. I wish Ulta beauty salon well....if this is the way their guests are treated I guess they have problems. I was a good customer but I'm sure they will be losing business if this is the way they now...
   Read moreThis is a review for a hair dye I got done at the highway 6 salon. The hair dye was done perfectly well, but the roots were dyed 3 shades lighter than my ends. After the dye I wasnât asked if Iâm okay with it. Secondly the blow dry was so bad my 10 year old sister can do a proper lasting blow dry. I was so disappointed because I like ulta and I also liked the lady that did my dye, however she did not know how to do the blow dry or how to match the roots with the end. I had to go to Tiffanyâs salon and she just took a look at my hair and died my roots 3 shades darker and finally the roots matched my end. This is what the ulta dyer should have done. If she knew what she was doing she wouldâve dyed my roots a darker shade or she wouldâve washed off the roots earlier than the ends. Sadly I am disappointed people hired at ulta donât know what theyâre doing. This is the basics that even I know only because Iâve been dying my hair since years. Iâm sure if I was a professional I would know even better so the question is how did she not...
