Talbots — Local services in Johnson City

I love Talbott for several reasons ... the quality and style of their clothing. I have purchased and still wear clothing from several years ago and STILL feel 'in style. Another reason, is extremely personal but I wish to share ... I accompanied my sister there. She was recovering from brain surgery due to Glioblastoma Brain Cancer. Talbott made her shopping experience one, she was able to recall even tho her short term memory was impaired. The manager overheard our conversation of her desire to have a hat to cover her half shaved hea and large scar ... but it was too expensive and sold at a store 2 stores down. I almost lost complete control ... when at the end of our shopping ... the manager and staff presented her with the hat. To this day ... Talbots and the memory they created lives in my heart. I will ALWAYS be a customer and THEY will be my PRIORITY store. I can never thank them enough. Hey, I know ... if you go ... could you say, "Susan and Peg say...

I have shopped (and spent $$$$$) at literally dozens of Talbots nationwide and, by far, the Johnson City store is the least friendly and helpful I have ever visited. I have shopped there many times, and more often than not, no one says Hello or May I Help You or anything, even when they are not busy. I used to think it was one particular retail rep, but it seems to be a systemic culture at that store. Save your time and go to Bristol, Asheville, or...

I went in this store and I’m 51 and I guess I wasn’t old enough to shop there I have a Talbots credit card and I do like their clothes I was treated very rude when I was paying basically the older lady acted like I wasn’t worthy of a credit card and because my phone number wasn’t in the system she accused me of never shopping Talbots very unfriendly no thank you and come back I will not shop at this...
