Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Johnson City

1 star.. why? Well lemme just tell ya... went 3 times in about 10 days. They messed up each time. 1st 2 times it was putting everything on a burger that was meant.to be plain. We scraped it off and went about our day.. 3rd time, we got 4 milkshakes and a burger. 22 bucks. My wife wanted a banana & chocolate w/double of both ingredients. Which she's gotten only about 57x at the Kingsport location.. This time the JC location was out of dome lids so they "put less ice cream to make room for the whipped cream" bc they used regular flat lids (the carhop told me this herself).. I drive the literal 1 min back.. the milkshake wasn't a milkshake, it was chocolate syrup & bananas. It wasn't even cold there was no ice cream. My reeses shake wasn't blended nor my sons chocolate shake. But the worst part about this is the manager, Justin.. the way he spoke to my wife was disgusting!!! It was rude and unprofessional! He chuckled at her and said "I made it to the sonic standards". Over and over, that's all he would say. He never apologized and offered to make another one, til my wife mentioned that was the worst part, that for the duration of the 10 min call, he didn't.. until the end. Sonic has excellent '50's style, curb-side, car served food brought to you by car-hops - some even Don the roller skates used in this type of drive in food eatery portrayed so well in the long running TV series "Happy Days." Their hamburgers are excellent, moist and right off the grill. If course they do have french fries, but I always opt for another throwback food; onion rings. BUT BY FAR, MY FAVORITE AT SONIC IS THE CORN DOG. I'm in my late 50's, and I recall corn dogs being on the menus of several restaurants when I was growing up. But now, I simply rely on Sonic to supply one of my favorite comfort foods - served to me right at my car window. And although I like their food - and they have some wonderful ice cream treats, like the Brownie Cookie Dough Blast THICK milkshake I am fond of - I am always very pleasantly surprised at how friendly, courteous, and happy the car hops are in their dealings with customers. I say they are happy because they always have a smile on their face. Great food, excellent service - all dished out to you while you sit in your car listening to the radio - or more likely, tapping on your smartphone. If you haven't tried Sonic, treat yourself to a good time meal...

Came through, ordered me and my fiancé some nuggets and some mozzarella sticks and some shakes, I asked for ketchup w my nuggets. First order came out on time, everything was perfect but there was no ketchup in the bag 😭 no one likes dry nuggets so I hit the red button and waited 6 minutes for the order taker to answer. During the wait I decided I wanted to add a sprite so when she answered I said all I needed was a medium sprite and ketchup. She repeated my order back to me like I was weird even tho she works in a fast food place that doesn't allow customer inside to grab free sauce. Little did I know it takes 16 minutes to recieve said items and I only saw an update on the order screen 13 minutes in AFTER I called the store and asked if they forgot me, the manager (who was also the order taker) said "we didn't forget you" in a really rude tone and hit the end button before I could and noticed she updated it to be DONE and then took 3 additional minutes to actually hand me out the sprite and ketchup. Everyone was really nice and I understand mistakes but that manager ruin my experienced completely, I had nuggets getting cold waiting on ketchup I was supposed to recieve in the...
