My wife had been through the drive thru on a work day and was pleased with the food. We decided to dine in on a Sunday. We walked in and there behind the register was a lady who didn't say a word to us when we approached her. We looked at the menu on the displays, one of which was not operational. I asked if the 8-piece came with a side. She said yes. I asked her if the sides are on the menu. It was my first time there and maybe I'm not seeing them, plus i didn't want to hold up the next customer. She said yes. A coworker of hers told her the display with the sides wasn't working. The cashier sighed out loud and read off the sides. I hardly understood her. By this time, I could tell my wife was ready to say something to her. We decided on our side, she rang us up, we paid, and she walked away without saying a word. Did I mention there was another customer behind us? We sat down and waited. At this point I was actually entertained with the way she was treating everyone; my wife, not so much. She then left a bag on the front counter and walked away. My wife got up to go grab it. I guess she assumed it was ours. I wanted to leave it there and wait to see how long it would take for her to tell us our food was ready. My wife opened it up, checked the contents, and signaled me to leave. I followed her out and told her we're getting a refund. I took the bag from her and walked back in and told the cashier I wanted a refund due to her poor customer service. My wife then weighed in and she began arguing with my wife. The manager got involved and began issuing the refund while the cashier continued arguing with my wife. She then told her manager she did not see us when we walked in because she was so busy, which was a lie. She told several other lies during the course of the argument, all of which her manager could verify if she cared to do so. We were issued a refund and will...
Read morethis is more about the mobile delivery service. they dropped the food off at the wrong address because it just had a first name and last initial and no apt or house address on the ticket. Sorry Customer 37 Andrew H. of Johnson City. Now I know why 2 chuck don't order on-line or by phone for home delivery. for the cost and the tiny amount, which about 4 years ago probably cost under $7 you got screwed shelling out over $25.00. i called them and they said there was nothing they can do, like see who customer 37 was and call the delivery driver with the correct address. Make sure you get your credit card refunded got them screwing up. Not about to leave my address because anybody reading this can claim to be Andrew H. Door Dash delivery Thursday night Jan 25th 2024 ordering time 9.21 dropped off after 10 P.M. i have to give them a 1 star on the delivery service. the other i cannot say other than the atmosphere at home is great and as for the food, the sandwiches need seasoning only, no bread, maybe shake and bake. stop putting "pickle ends" on them and provide sauces or creams on the side. the fries had no Cajun taste to them, the sodas were watered down, flat, no carbonation and salty in taste. sugar free and zero carb has a sweetener you notice, these had zero hint in them. for that amount, individually, i can get either 4 bags of $5 shrimp, 3 bags of catfish nuggets at $6.40, 4 bags of Ahi tuna, 3 turkey tenderloins, 20 lbs. of drumsticks and 2 chuck roast as well as 4 pork roast and at least 18 cans of goods or 18 bags of frozen veggies. so, for that you could have had 1 serving of shrimp, 2 lbs. catfish, 10-12 drumsticks, a pork roast and 4 cans of soup mixture and or 4 bags of whatever vegetables you crave all under or just over what was paid for 1 chicken sandwich, 5 chicken fingers, fries, mash potatoes and gravy...
Read moreSo I’ve never been to Popeyes. I fine waiting for my order for fresh chicken. I was trying to get the prices for an order of fries. The manager made comment that it was 20 till closing and she didn’t have any fries up but she could drop some but she had to be gone and out of store by 12am because they was closed at 12. Didn’t give us one price, or ask if we want the fries. And then walked away. The other employee came up and we paid and asked us to pull up so we could get fresh chicken and never asked for about what sauces we needed. The manager should have made sure about the fries. There was 15 minutes by the time of closing. Still waiting and it’s 11:55pm. Fries doesn’t take that long to cook!
Adding to my reply; I did not care one bit to wait. What I cared about was never did I get a price for fries, or if they needed to add the fries to the order. She said that if we wanted them, we would have to wait. We were waiting for the chicken anyways and it takes longer to kick the chicken then it does the fries so you could’ve put the fries down while the chicken was being cooked too and I could’ve had some fries with my chicken! When they brought the chicken out, they had like eight sides added to the bag that we didn’t even order. That was a very nice gesture, however, I wanted french fries but never received the price for them and never was asked if they needed to be dropped. Instead, she said what she said, and then she walked away quickly. Then the other employee came to the window two minutes later and said that that’s gonna be await for your chicken if you wouldn’t mind to pull up and that was fine we didn’t...
