EDIT: Turk responded with “we can’t locate acct, email us” which I did the same day and then NOTHING. Ignoring me again was insult to injury. ORIGINAL POST: I don’t have the heart to give it a 1* but honestly this experience has really made me question what has changed with this company. I have been a customer for 20yrs. Found and bought a sofa in LaSalle. I made sure to ask for new- not floor model. They delivered the floor model. It smelled terrible and I told them I wanted a new one. I was told to call Joliet bc they handle all the exchanges and Joliet was the only one having a new one delivered anytime soon. A couple months later, I got the “new”one. The backs didn’t line up and the seat creaked when opened. “Someone will call you” but they didn’t. 8months later and the seat is popping and groaning so I start calling again. The “new” one was never put in the system so my warranty was two days past. But they sent someone out. He said it was a staple catching when it opens and he pulled it out. He said the backs never line up right and they all creak when opened. “Someone will call you” but they didn’t. 3 months later and the backs are broken, the fabric sags and the seats are noticeably different heights of this 15month old sofa so I call again and I’m told “why are you even calling Joliet, you bought it in LaSalle”…well Joliet is where this one came from months after the first but it was never documented…”someone will call you”…nope. Read moreATTENTION! DO NOT PURCHASE ANY WARRANTY FROM TURKS! On 1-6-19 we purchased a reclining sofa and 2 chairs for $4058.75 and also the power warranty (5yrs) from Servco for another $400.00. On 11-11-21 the footrest on the sofa would not close. I contacted the store and the warranty company the next day. First i was told i didn't purchase the power warranty. After arguing with Servco they finally submitted our claim.Servco didn't come out till 12-10-21and apparently submitted the wrong photos and info. We tried contacting Servco numerous times but you cannot even leave a message.On 12-26-21 we drove to the store (joliet) to see if we could get some results. We were told the store would contact us the next day, they never did. Servco called on 12-27-19 to say that they would send us a tracking# for shipped parts but still no communication. Recently we found out that Dana was still with Turk furniture at the Joliet location. Needing new furniture for several rooms, we made the trip from Naperville to see how Dana could help us.
It was well worth the drive down there. Dana remembered us our style and our household needs. After getting caught up on any changes she was able to quickly guide us to selections that were perfect for us. In a fairly short amount of time we were able to satisfy everything we wanted and a few things that we found and added to the list.
