Worst service I've ever had at any Hooters ever. We drove an hour and were going to a show at the Rialto after dinner. Could've gone anywhere, but we go to Hooters whenever we can. Got there a few minutes before 5:00, perfect time. We were seated right away. A waitress offered to get us drinks but told us she was not going to be our waitress and it was shift change so it would be a few minutes for our server to get to us. Ok, we're good sports, in a good mood cuz we're at Hooters and just ordered a pitcher of sangria. 20 minutes goes by, no waitress, no order being put in........ Our confused and starting to get irritated looks caught the attention of a person that looked like a manager maybe. She asked us if everything was ok and we told her no, because we hadn't even gotten to order yet. She apologized and said our waitress was doing paper work. At least she took our order, but seriously, how is the waitress doing paperwork our problem??? We're supposed to wait til she's done? Another 10 minutes goes by and our waitress finally stopped by to say Hello but wasn't particularly friendly. I think she must have overheard us talking about the dwindlng tip. The food took a little longer to get than we expected, but was definitely worth the wait and the only reason this review has three stars. The waitress stopped by one more time when we were done eating and asked if we wanted anything else to drink. We said no and she went away and never came back with our check. Husband went to the restroom, he came back I went to the restroom. I saw our waitress standing around chatting at the hostess station on my way back to the table. We waited another 5 minutes or so and I got the attention of one of the waitresses actually working that we wanted our check. Needless to say we're striking Joliet Hooters...
Read moreTonight April 28, 2023 four of us went out to celebrate at hooters and was interrupted with a visitor. I was halfway eating my food when a bug was spotted I quickly asked for the waitress. When the waitress came over, she seen the bug and immediately was discussed I asked to speak to a manager as she took my plate away. I was no longer able to finish my food. When the manager came to the table. I told her what happened and the first thing that was told to me was we don’t have bugs. REALLY. I was very disappointed because I felt you as a manager should have been more sympathetic, apologetic, because these things do happen and not jump to the defense side like this never happens in your facility, assuming I wanted a free meal never once did I make any suggestions for being reimbursed, never once did I suggest to have another meal given to me. I simply told her that I could not continue my meal because of the bugs. As I was still continuing to converse with my friends, to my surprise, “not really “was another bug. This time I was able to take a video and pictures and showed it to the manager nicely and was told all I can do is take 10% off your bill. 1 whole dollar was taken off my bill. My complaint is Management do better very unprofessional. Read moreFirst time dining at this location, unfortunately worst time! Post Quarantine, expectations limited. Server did not introduce herself, came to table asked for drink orders. Thankfully my guest and I came prepared and knew exactly what we wanted food wise and ordered. Drinks came to the table, server spilled beer on plates did not offer to bring napkins nor fresh plate settling it had to be requested. Waitress (Laura) who’s named was learned by the noisy guests behind us seemed to be irritated by simple request. Asked for water, it came well after the food which took 20-25 minutes. Food arrived it was cold, requested ranch with order that never came. Flagged server down to advise ranch was no longer needed as meal was almost completed without it and asked for boxes. I said thank you to (Laura) good spirits still despite my experience and her response was (mhm) Just when I thought the experience couldn’t get any worst. I went to pick up my beer mug and broken glass was underneath it from the mug. (Laura) Not to be found, another server who was helping out was asked if it was glass coming from glass her exact response “oh yes it is” “hope you don’t get cut, that would be bad” and left the glass at the table !
