Me and my husband went yesterday to have my ring re-sized because it doesn’t fit any longer. We have life warranty on it. As we were doing that we noticed another ring and we got tempted to made trade our rings for the new one. As they are showing it to us, Charmayne who was working there says that the ring is on clearance and that is 40% off and that we can get another 10% off on it. Our original rings were bought each for $1500. The mentioned that we would get that full value back towards the new rings. We got tempted and we do matching rings so we said yes and that we would do it and trade both our rings. In the process they come back and they said “oh no we apologize but we can’t do 10% off any longer”. Then as she is continuing the process Charmayne said that she applied $1350 credit from the trade (which originally was supposed to be $1500 which is how much we bought the rings). We had some talks and at the end they said they can only do $50 off each ring, which was far less than the 10% extra off and far less than the price of the original rings trade. Earlier in the process she mentioned insurance and the guy (Omar) said that we have a year to come back and add it so we don’t have to do it now since that it’s a large out of budget purchase for us. As we agreed at this point to do this and we even opened the credit card with them and got approved, we mentioned that we will do the insurance later, and then the girl (Charmayne) who was helping comes back and said the district manager told her on the phone that the extra $50 off discount was only valid if we bought the insurance too. We felt so humiliated and offended by the way she treated us. She kept saying we are giving you a great deal while they were literally ripping us off. And the thing that upset us was that they kept lying and changing everything. We will never do business with Kay again. We were so attached to that store and have purchased many things in the past but this was the worst experience ever and we will never return...
Read moreI went to this Kay’s recently to pickup a resized ring and after picking it up I decided I wanted to buy an engagement ring since I had issues placing it online. I had a coupon from online and I asked the lady’s up front: Annette and Valeria if I could redeem the code in store, they said they should be able to but went to double check with an older man who worked there who said it does work after reviewing the code but said “should I choose to buy it another time to just show the code” however I wanted to buy it then so I ended up telling Annette and Valeria I wanted it since the coupon works in stores. Annette and Valeria were also a huge help for confirming I could use Apple Pay for checkout. While I was checking out my partner noticed that behind my back the older man working there signaled with his hands to the lady’s to hurry it up since he wanted to close so bad instead of helping a customer. Instead the lady’s continued helping me and didn’t rush me.
We ended up seeing Valeria again today while picking up the ring we ordered and had sent in to get resized on that last visit and she immediately knew who we were. After confirming our receipts she found our ring quickly and gave us our resized ring. Super thankful for her service I will continue going back to Kay’s only because of people like Annette...

Once I came in, I immediately got help from Charmayne Frazier. She was so nice and helpful. I told her what I was looking for and showed her the charm I was looking for. She advise me that it was online exclusive and had to be done online because they didn’t have it in the store. I told her I wanted to make sure what size it was and she got her ruler and gave me an idea of how big it will be. I decided I wanted it and she said she will order it for me which I loved because I didn’t have to do anything besides pay. I definitely loved talking to Charmayne, she has a wonderful personality and she even had my sister and I giggling. She is the definition of customer service.
