Joshua Tree Rock Shop — Local services in Joshua Tree

Visited out of town… half way across the US. Said many times I would be traveling on a plane and that I would appreciate extra wrapping and tlc. I spent a NICE chunk of money… my most expensive crystal had one lair of bubble wrap and one layer of paper. What is that going to do?!?! I even took extra precautions with all of my barely wrapped crystals, and none of them made it back safely.

Should have stopped and got more bubble wrap. I knew better :)

Stopping here “was” a highlight of my trip. Staff is too focused on interviewing— when they should focus on customers. That’s the owners job, and he was even around… For the tourist location they are located at.. I had way higher customer service standards. You do understand a National Park is 5 miles away.. and that brings in A LOT of your potential customers????

Maybe let your customers wrap their items so they make them home safely.

Overall, beautiful store. Worth stopping. Some things well priced, others...

This store... I cannot even begin to tell you how amazing this store was. So many gems and such loving energy there. I had the pleasure to meet someone there who I saw on the screen and followed her work for years with rocks. I have followed her on her personal blog for years! She is our role model. My children love her too and she got us into rocks. I didn’t know she worked there ! I was honored to meet Ms Sam kelly in person. She is the most kind, open, and seriously, the best when it comes to healing crystals. She knows it all. I am so excited! I would 100% recommend this store. There was another woman there who was just as kind. So welcoming. Thank you so much for welcoming us with open arms and helping us with some healing rocks. What an absolute tourist trap and money grab. The prices here are on average 4 times what anywhere else would charge. The prices are absolutely ridiculous - paying those prices is beyond foolish. The stuff they have is nice enough and there's a lot of it, but I would never pay anything close to those prices. Im in rock shops very frequently and have been in rock shops around the world... this was the priciest one I've ever been in and I left with nothing. Save yourself some time and money and find somewhere else. I'm guessing their very positive reviews are from people who are impressed by shaped rose quartz and have never been in a rock...
