I’ve had the immense pleasure of taking ballroom dance lessons at the Jupiter Fred Astaire dance studio for over 10 years and I am still happily addicted to every minute on the dance floor. The teachers are the best and guide you easily from one level to the next. They also offer a ballet for the ballroom class for those who are in love with ballet as well. I am one who never thought I could ever be comfortable dancing, but now it has become a lifelong passion! They offer discounted beginning lessons, so I encourage you to try one. I guarantee you will love it!!

I'm a recent client of Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Jupiter and all I can say is - I wish I did this sooner!!

The studio is conveniently located on the NE corner of Indiantown Rd and Alt AIA in the TJMax plaza, I attended the Thursday evening dance party and was immediately welcomed by other attendees and studio instructors. I NEVER felt pressure to signup for classes but seeing how much fun it was, just sold me.

I have danced for many years but my husband is new to dancing. He actually enjoys it and feels comfortable with the instructor and other students. Our instructor was patient with my husband and taught him how to lead while dancing. BIG PLUS.

The other reason for joining is getting the exercise while having fun. I'm not a big gym rat so dancing is right up my alley.

If you want an alternative to jogging in the heat, try dancing in air...

Ballroom dancing is a huge stress buster and proven to be the number one activity to prevent dementia! Sergh and his dance professionals at Fred Astaire Jupiter do an amazing job with students, no matter age or ability, to discover their goals and exercise both body and mind while making it fun!! They offer wonderful introductory lesson packages and once through the door, one WANTS to come back. The studio is beautiful and the students you meet are wonderful. Whether you want to learn for social dancing, getting ready for a wedding (father daughter/bride & groom/ wedding party) or other special dance to learn or if you are interested in getting in shape (mind/body) or just get moving - I highly recommend giving Fred Astaire Jupiter a call - I've been taking lessons since 2011...
