Crown Center Square Fountain — Local services in Kansas City

We went to the free movie Friday & I wish I hadn't or that Crown Center & people there used common sense. 2 grassy areas(blankets in front, chairs in back).

I spent 1hr 33mins in line to get food from truck & during that time a nice big family of parents, kids & grandparents put their chairs & strollers right in front of our blanket. The movie started about 9p(so it was dark)& I was still in line for food. My 6yr old & I couldn't even see, let alone enjoy the movie. We had to move to the pebble walled fountain to sit & it was so uncomfortable. Then about a hr later a couple right on the edge of the grass started packing up & I moved our blanket & snacks to their spot & we enjoyed the rest of the(Spidy)movie comfortably.

Now I know to bring our own food & not leave my blanket. Because people are RUDE!

Super chill place to hang out at night. Lots of fun lights and sounds. We ordered from Los 3 Hermanos taco truck off Independence Avenue and then came here to eat. We enjoyed the scooters afterwards, 1.50$ to start, .39 a minute after with a 3.50 minimum I believe. Each rider has to have their own app to unlock the scooter, one is not able to unlock more than one scooter at once. We rented two scooters and took turns between the four of us. Lots of fountains to look at, at least 5 in the seating area and there were lots of people riding around #ScooterGang. This was my first time in KC, I went for Hallmarks first ever Christmas experience festival. It was every Christmas lovers dream! Had a cute little market on the square, ice skating and a tree lighting and light show. The weekend was truly magical with Christmas cheer around every corner.
