Horrible Experience Dont think about going there. I am writing this review to let the owner know about what happens in his store from the guy he hired as a manager "Tej". I had called him on the phone asking about how much would it be to change an ipad screen glass only he said an average of $70 to $80 based on the model. Great. when he chcked it, he said we need to change the LCD. I said how much, $159 and the glass is $85 minimum. ok I will come to see so I can understand more. When I arrived, he showed me, he said $169. I got so furious, and I tried to explain to him that he cant keep quoting different prices. he said 159 or 169 it is the same. I said no, it is not the same. I explained, i understand that u will offer a $10 discount, but you didnt say "169 + $10 off". u just quoted me $169. I explained that it is bad for the business because it makes you look like you are trying to make $10 extra in your pocket, which i know is not the case, so please avoid doing that with other customers. So far, i was calm, furious but trying to make point. I asked if he will call me when he open it, may be the LCD is ok. He said no, we cant. Why, he said "if you will leave us your ipad, you have to trust us". Very unprofessional seriously. I said, how would i know that the LCD is broken. this is the original, I dont want to lose it. He convinced me that it is broken. Finally, we agreed on $159.A little bit later, i got a call back from another store that I had called earlier for a quote, he txted me that he can do it for $110. I txted Tej to see if he can match the price which is a yes/no question. He then calls and says "you cant cancel now, we arleady started working on it" which I knew was a lie because the part wasnt going to arrive until the next day. At this point, he just pissed me off for no reason. I tried to explain that I can cancel anytime as long as he hasnt started working on which wasnt going to be until tomororw. At this point, he said, i will check and call you back in 5 minutes. I thought he will check for an answer to my question. Surprisingly, he calls back and says you can come pick up ur ipad and we will refund you. Ok, but did you ask for a price match. No. why, I dont know. I said ok fine, I will come. He calls me back 2 minutes later, Maam when are you coming to pick it up, why. i can come whenever I want. again, very unprofessional. I called back cause I needed it fixed asap for my son to do his hw. I asked, if yours is original apple. he said yes, this is why ours is so expensive. he said and i quote "you can take it to any apple store and they will confirm". I was like wow. Ok, please send me that in a txt meesage and i will give you the ok to continue, he said ok i will call you back in 5 minutes. again i thought he will take the 5 minutes to write that in a message. Surprisingly again, he called and said "we are not interested in your business. What?turns out, Apple doesnt sell their spare parts and there was no way that was an original. when i asked why, he said again "because you dont trust us" that is when i flipped. "Why do i need to trust you, I dont know you"my husband came with me to pick up the ipad cause he has heard how inappropriate that guy is, we walked in, he tried to talk, i said no, i dont need to talk to you please. I will talk to Shak who has been more than polite, reasonable, apologized from the first inconvenience. He was very professional. He acted like a manager even though he is not. this Tej guy tried to keep talking and both my husband and I are saying NO. we dont want to hear you anymore, we will only talk to Shak, and he continues for 5 or 6 times till we had to get loud to make him stop and when Shak tries to talk to us, he would interupt him and tell him "But I am the manager". To top it off, we took the ipad to another store who confirmed that the LCD is perfectly fine and only changed the glass infornt of us. Talking about transparency. Not only did the screen go out but my phone started over heating and not charging after they replaced the screen. Went back to get the screen fixed again and was told I had to pay for a new battery.
