(This review is based on the staff member/our tour experience and NOT the apartment complex.)
Kirsten was the staff member that assisted my fiancé, and I along with our leasing agent. My Fiancé loved the look for the complex and I loved that they had a dog park so we decided to go and tour.
Kirsten was nice when she greeted us however our experience with her was terrible. First, she didn't even ask what my budget was, just what bedroom I wanted. I said 1 bedroom and that's when she offered to show the 2nd high plan. I had to stop her and say more importantly I had a budget so let's go from there. She showed me what they had (which was only 1 floor plan understandably). I felt like she no longer wanted to assist because I was strict on my budget. I'm sorry, but girl I'm planning a Wedding this year and I have budget goals to meet.
Don't get me wrong, she was friendly but she speaks too low so you can barely understand her. She talked when she was walking and obviously us behind her, we couldn't hear and had to repeat questions that she already answered in her statements. It was annoying having to confirm TWICE what she just said. She showed us the apartment and I personally, felt uncomfortable. She didn't really answer our questions, mostly nodding her head and smiling. We walked past the pool and grills and she didn't even mention those. I get it, we can see it, but you're still obligated to show/tell us right? There was also something in a shape of a circle next to the pool that had flags and holes in the ground. Again I couldn't tell you because Kirsten didn't bother telling us. I want to guess a mini golf game? Maybe construction? She knew we had a dog and informed us they had a dog park earlier when we sat down, but when we left the apartment, she started to walk away from the park that was right in front of the apartment and I was walking towards it. Like why not show me when you knew I was interested which made me come here in the first place? At least she asked what breed I had and if it was hypoallergenic bc she's thinking of wanting one. Closest conversation we had the entire time.
Everything was just quick, uncomfortable and not very detailed. At the end of the tour, my Fiancé and Leasing agent both agreed when I said out loud how the tour experience was horrible because of Kirsten. It was very affordable and I was happy with the complex, amenities and the apartment. The ONLY reason I am not considering the apartment anymore is because of Kirsten herself. I knew I was leaving a negative review as soon as we...
Read moreAfter submitting two reviews about this apartment complex, I logged into my account to pay my rent for the month of August and discovered a move-out credit for nearly a full month’s rent. Given my prior communication requesting the cancellation of my move to a new unit due to personal inconvenience, I assumed this credit was an effort to rectify the situation.
Initially, I had been informed that someone else was scheduled to move into my apartment, but this tenant was reassigned to the unit I was supposed to move into. As I had already requested to remain in my current apartment, I disregarded the move-out credit.
On August 3rd, I paid the remaining balance of my rent. On August 7th, I visited the office to address noise issues with my neighbor’s dogs that they never addressed. (Side Note: I eventually had to discuss the matter directly with my neighbor and the issue was resolved amicably.)
However, when I returned to the office, the staff seemed unaware of my decision to stay. They offered me a $300 credit to move, which I initially accepted, thinking it was additional to the move-out credit. I later realized that I could not handle the move by myself and communicated this. During a follow-up visit, I was assured that the office would arrange and cover the cost of movers out of their own pockets. So I agreed to view the new unit I would be moving into and it was so dirty and filthy, I told them I would not be moving. They assured me that they hire professional cleaners and I would be able to move in August 13th.
On the scheduled move-in day, I received no updates or communication from the office staff. On August 14th when I checked my account, I found that the move-out credit had been deducted, and late fees were charged. This was unexpected and not communicated to me. Subsequent checks revealed further discrepancies, with changes made to my account after the due date without any explanation or communication from the office.
As of August 20th, my rent portal shows additional changes, and a deposit balance of $400 with no communication from the management. All previous changes appear to have vanished, and the issues I initially raised remain unresolved.
I am compelled to leave this review in hopes of receiving a response. I need clarity on how the misinformation led to these complications and what steps will be taken to resolve...
Read moreZERO STARS if I could. Was given the same run around for almost three weeks. I would like to request my refund to your office because I don't trust that it will be sent. I was told it will be in a check but I just realized that also does not seem right since I paid with my card. I will be stopping in the office monday. My experience was horrible, I was extremely patient with everything up until I was being told two different things from two companies that work together. On one end I was being told that the leasing desk can not and does not send emails to confirm a dispute was cleared up, that the property has to contact them. Then with the property, which was with Ian who was helping said they never reach out to them. So which one is it?! I have never experience anything like this and this place brings bad business and I feel like maybe my father who is Black was discriminated as he was the added tenant. The dispute was handled and was even confirmed on the phone with IAN on a recorded line just to prove it but Ian still couldn't do anything after that? He could have told the property manager or just alone the manager knowing this could have resolved this issue by reaching out to the leasing desk! If they kept telling us they couldn't contact them. After all of this I was out of $300 and now filing a complaint through corporate. My neighbor who has three children is also a Black woman and she told me this happened as well with this complex, you guys did the same thing to her but gave her the same run around for a whole month! Then just denied with no help. Im not sure what the real issue is but it is clear as day that the people here are not honest and will only take your money then your stuck waiting for that "refund" until you struggle to find another place to live. I lost a better opportunity for another apartment because you guys never got back to me and then couldn't do your job to resolve the issue that is between the property and leasing desk! Terrible place, do not waste your hard earned money and if you're a person of color, I strongly believe that they won't accept you simply just for that. The property manager is dishonest and don't even respond to my review saying you will help now to resolve my issue because that's what I needed before Ian just issued me a "refund" before even calling me to tell me...
