My mom grew up in kennebunkport, we were always down there for the summer and then back there for prelude. Years flew by, movers misplaced the blanket & my mom is no longer with us… as a total shot in the dark, I emailed Mountain Tops in Kennebunkport, ME - I asked if they had the same blanket in stock. I wasn’t expecting any reply as it was mid winter - Sue, their manager, replied back SHE BELIEVES SHE HAS ONE IN STOCK!!! They weren’t open for the summer yet but when they were to open she would let me know. FAST FORWARD TO MAY: Not only was Sue extremely helpful and quick with her responses, she had my package out immediately! The clerk was insanely rude to my mother. One of the 2/40 sweatshirts had an ink spot on it so it was 19.99 “as is”. She said it would be 45 for the two since the as is didn’t qualify, which really didn’t make sense since we would still be getting two sweatshirts for the promotional price, except with one damaged and that was ok.    Read moreMountain Tops has both outstanding merchandise and staff. Abby, the assistant manager went above and beyond to assist me in finding a replacement sweatshirt for the one that I damaged. Additionally, the manager, Sue even provided me with contact information of another store that may carry the sweatshirt I was seeking in the color I had previously purchased.
While Mountain Tops may lack a website, it’s because their customer service is top-notch and highly individualized.
Next time I’m in Kennebunkport, I wouldn’t shop...
