So my first time I've been here was Saturday night, and I can say, it was 5/5 stars (That's kind of the reason for the 3 stars), the atmosphere was super chill, the service was awesome and quick, and the tea was amazing, no question. I loved this place already. So much in fact, a just 3 days later I came back to get the same thing I had last time, the Orange Fruit Tea with Mango pop boba, last time it was great, best tea I've had compared to a lot of other places. But after I got back home and drunk basically all of my tea, I spotted a weird greenish look from the center of the orange, a small greenish piece at the bottom of tea and boba, and noticed the one of the carpels (the edible part of the orange), was basically falling off, which is a sign of a decaying fruit, and I thought, oh no. I proceeded to pull the orange out of the cup and it basically almost fell apart as I was picking it up, so much to were the center of the orange just broke right off. I glanced it over and just as thought, mold. Now I'm not the guy to put in reviews on places and just slander the place, as I was in the food industry so I understand mistakes happen, 100%, as last time my drink was absolutely perfect, but I truly felt kinda of sick, confused on the how this could happen and disappointed, after drinking my entire tea to later find out the orange was moldy.. Now I don't know if this was more of a prepped food on the line sitting too long issue or something with food storage and refrigeration. But I just ask to please be more cautious and mindful next time about your preparation and selection of fruits or anything you serve that is on its way to becoming rotten, as cross contamination and serving of food that is contaminated is a food borne illness waiting to happen.. I more than likely won't be getting my boba tea from here again. But I don't discourage others from coming here, it's a great place, but that essentially just...
Read moreThis was our third visit to this establishment. The first visit was stellar. They were pretty new and the owner was pleasant and friendly. The tea was also pretty good, although I am not a tea expert. I was just here again last week and purchased 3 bubble teas. This last visit I ordered two teas, and the chicken nuggets. I noticed that someone got stamped on a card for their purchases so I asked about a card for myself. The owner gave me a blank card, by placing it on the counter and walking away. so I waited again, and told her it wasn't stamped, so she stamps it once and walks away. So I wait again, and I explain to her that we were never informed about a stamp card, and wanted to get credit for my last 3 tea purchases. The owner seemingly irritated tells me that it is just one stamp per visit, but the card clearly states "when you purchase ten cups of tea the 11th cup is free." I kindly explained to the owner that they might want to change what is written on the card. She then smirked as if I was a joke, then said "what do you want, how many stamps do you want?" Followed by a new version, "the stamp card is only for holidays like Mother's Day and Father's Day." News flash today is not a holiday. At that point I was ready to cancel my order, because I do not take kindly to someone being condescending when I am patronizing their establishment, which in turn contributes to their livelihood. She knew it was coming, and just stamped the card begrudgingly. My point is keep the same energy as when you first opened, appreciating customers and treating them as such. Will we come back? ...
Read moreI LOVE QUEEN TEA, I love the atmosphere and everything ,so I wanted to bring my partner here, he was just as excited as me. We went there & it was his first time going to get boba. The front desk cashier had a look on her face when we came up to order that gestured a rude welcoming. We kinda got passed that because it was almost closing time, 11:40 to be exact. My boyfriend was ordering for his first time and asked to get mango boba, usually when you ask for boba first they then say what kind of drink would you like with that. But the lady at the front looked at us blindly like we had just said something crazy. The whole time we were trying to explain something simple she looked at us like we were stupid, not a great service at all, not even the courtesy to explain. I’m sure new people come for boba all the time. A couple times after explaining and her still not understanding she then turned around walked away and said to her coworker “ what..? I don’t understand what they’re ordering, can you help my brain is functioning correctly, i don’t understand” then proceeded to talk to her coworker about that “crazy thing we asked for”. luckily another worker came by and we said we wanted mango boba and he asked us what drink would you like. It was that easy. After that encounter I really don’t feel like being bothered with that interaction anymore so i’m most likely just going to change boba shops which is a little sad i guess. I should add that she wasn’t wearing the uniform either, we will give her the benefit of the doubt and say that she’s...
