Kenosha County Courthouse — Local services in Kenosha

I have visited the Kenosha County Courthouse multiple times over the years for one reason or another. Everyone at the courthouse are five-star professionals, from the deputy sheriff's at the checkin, to the Bailiffs, to the county commissioners, and the judges. I want to commend Diana K. of Room 204. Everytime I visit Room 204, Diana K. helps me. Diana always goes above and beyond and wants to help me more than she has to because she realizes that I am not too tech savvy. Diana K. repeats if I fully understand the paperwork and if I have any questions. Besides Diana K. two other phenomenal professionals who go above and beyond helping me is Lucia K. and Kathy I. Amazing is an understatement. Lucia K. and Kathy I. always return my calls timely and help me walk through things on items I get confused about and guide me through what to expect and where to go for resources. Amazing team. From Diana K, Lucia K, Kathy I. the judges i have dealt with before when I called for jury duty, the Commissioners I had to go before on arbitration, to the Kenosha county deputies and the Bailiff. Special mention and thanks to the hard working Kenosha county deputies, Deputy Lopez, Deputy M. Lund, Deputy M. Turville, Deputy Grisby, and the other Kenosha county deputies who I run into when I check in where I did not mention because I do not recall their names. I see these fine deputies scan every guest entering the courtroom thoroughly screening visitors to the Kenosha County Courthouse one by one making sure no bad guys try to pull a fast one with care, and speed without holding up a line. Again, amazing is an understatement. As a government employee, Diana K, Lucia K. and Kathy I. excell in customer service and I like to praise and commend upper management for having such phenomenal representatives of the court like Diane K. Lucia K, and Kathy I represent Kenosha County. Having officials like Diane K., Lucia K., and Kathy I. is what separates Kenosha County from other government court houses in the nation. Again, everyone at Kenosha County Court and the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department are five-star professionals who always go above and beyond. I am proud to be a Kenosha County resident and want to commend our silent heroes who are out to serve the people of our great county but underappreciated. Keep up the great work. The deputies inside are kind and professional, and the clerks behind the desk are helpful and timely. The document process itself is fair, but during the fall and winter months, things slow down a lot — hardly anything moves on time.

The judges are somewhat fair and just about 75% of the time. Many of them seem reasonable and genuinely try to work with the community. Overall, the courthouse has good people inside, but the system still struggles with consistency and efficiency.

This place is a crock of bull. Wouldn't let me deal with my court case because I showed up in shorts because of work after the court appearance. There was no advance warning of a dress code. The people were rude and disrespectful. They told me to go home and change even after I explained I was almost 2 hrs from home. One of the officers even laughed at me.
