Luxe on 28th — Local services in Kentwood

We were looking for a prom dress for my daughter and found this place online and were impressed by the reviews. I know it wasn't going to be cheap ( prices are not published online) but it was senior prom and I was thinking extravagant. Why not? Well, this place came up short. When we got there today, the place was empty (stark contrast from David's bridal). The 2 sales staff were sitting at the reception and they didn't bother to get up or offer to help. No smile either. They looked blank. It was 3 pm and they close at 4. We walked around to see if my daughter would find anything she liked. We already came from David's bridal where we have 2 dresses on hold. My daughter was looking for specific style and color. No sticker shock here. $500 wasn't a big deal. If my daughter was made to feel special, I would have happily opened my wallet. The sales staff obviously did not know this principle. I felt ignored at this place and I walked out with nary a goodbye or thank you to the two ladies who were still sitting at the reception waiting for closing time. There was limited selection compared to David's. Most of the styles were for more mature women. David's sales staff were much nicer. Needless to say, I will be talking about this dissatisfaction to the other girls/moms...

First time coming to Luxe. My daughter needed a short formal dress for a winter dance. They had a great assortment of styles. Dressing rooms were private and large and had a place for others to sit outside making it easy if my daughter needed help with something.z but I actually didn't need to because we always had someone there to help. The store was so clean and best of all customer service was amazing! She had help with each dress and helped me with lacing and tying the one she decided on. I can't say enough good things and we will definitely be back for more events to come. Highly recommend for anyone needing a formal dress. Prices are reasonable and quality...

We went to Luxe on 28th in search of a dress for a pageant that my daughter competed in. Suzette was nothing short of amazing! My little girl had her heart set on a certain color and style-Suzette nailed it and my daughter told me that this is the dress she envisioned.
