🚩🚨They go from touching on people's feet next door to making your drinks which is disgusting. They do both jobs at a foot and nail salon next door and alternate with making drinks🚨
🚩🚨🚨They use spoiled milk in their coffees/latte which caused my drink to look like this🚨🚨 my coffee also was not fresh, it was lukewarm
Them going from doing pedicures and not sanitizing properly to making drinks DEFINITELY could also be a possibility for spoilage due to cross contamination from the bacteria
🚩🚨Young girl working there was wearing a belly shirt crop top which is unsanitary because of the germs that live on your body and I'm sure she's not regularly washing her stomach while preparing food and drink. They have employees who are too busy worried about looking sexy than cleanliness. There's a reason you don't see other businesses with employees handling food/drink with their belly out🚨🚨
So many red flags but the treatment I endured was the last straw.
Inconsiderate employees....wish I just would have gotten a refund today instead of the drinks because of how rude, inconsiderate, and unapologetic the young girl who works there is. She doesn't know how to make coffee was her excuse as to why my order wasn't ready when I had an Uber there waiting on me when I ordered 25 minutes ahead of time. She didn't think to ask the woman who also works next door who does know how to make them to do it. I had to go next door myself (while she was touching and rubbing feet) and ask her, which is something the young girl should have done 25 minutes ago when I ordered it. But apparently she was too lazy to take the time to do so because she just doesn't care about customer's time, she's just there to get paid even though she doesn't even know how to make a couple coffees. Really? She can make milk tea and everything else but isn't trained to make flavored coffee? I honestly think she was just being lazy.
Just tasted the coffee and the coffee wasn't even worth it. I couldn't even finish my second coffee because it turned into a solid, a lumpy jello-like substance. Apparently it's due to them using spoiled old milk . I shouldn't have touched that coffee after her hands were full of feet anyway.
Update: I called today for a refund on my second coffee that turned to Jello because I couldn't drink it. Why pay for something that I couldn't drink ESPECIALLY after how they treated me. She needs to work on her English skills because I told her the coffee turned into Jello and she kept saying "It's suppose to be yellow." Then she said you're just mad because we didn't make your coffee when you ordered it. The woman with the horrible fake blue contacts is very unprofessional.
She's not going to last long in business and I hope the health department shuts them down for working on feet and beverages at...
Read moreThis place was sad and depressing. I want to take a moment to really criticize the decor, which was all regulated into a single corner of the shop by the window. Walking into Sakura, there was no music playing in the strange, almost hospital-like sterile environment that had only a single, fake plastic tree, a bench covered in decorative pillows, and two chairs made for children with an appropriately sized desk that signified this location was not meant to be a casual hang out. Sakura wants you to get your stuff and leave, not hang out or talk; instead, they created an atmosphere that seems counterproductive to these cafes. Sitting there for nearly 20 minutes waiting on two drinks, my girlfriend and I sat in awkward silence, waiting for one of the employees to call out for our drinks as a large order took precedence. We waited patiently; the issue wasn't that we were waiting; the problem is we felt out of place and uninvited while waiting. Again, no music, no real places to sit, and being sequestered off into the corner of the room with the only chairs made us painfully aware of how empty this building was. It was bad. I don't particularly appreciate sitting in sad, empty, music-less cafes.
But you know what really made me stew over this place and leave a one-star review? They charged me $5 for a milkshake with no ice cream. It was watery, filled with chunks of ice, and didn't taste at all like a milkshake. I get they're a boba place; I don't like tea, though. I went in with my girlfriend to get them something and only grabbed a milkshake for myself because they offered it. Well, that was wrong. They offer lies.
Their menu says slushes, yogurt drinks, and milkshakes, but I suspect that even had I gotten the more expensive yogurt drink, I'd have had the exact same thing made for me but with a dollop of yogurt in it instead. This is unacceptable, and it didn't help that the cashier girl was trying to upsell me on stupid little add-ins when I made it clear to her that I wanted a "regular" milkshake. I don't know about anyone else, but I don't consider a "regular" milkshake to be 90% water with popping tapioca balls in it, which costs extra, I should add. On top of that, when she asked if my girlfriend wanted light ice, they marked it as so on her drink but still filled over half the cup with ice. Sakura Bubble Tea and Coffee is 100% a rip-off business trying to just cash in on the bubble tea craze without any idea of what they're actually doing.
One last thing, I'm pretty sure some of their reviews are fake. Most of the accounts reviewing only have one review (for Sakura at that), and one of them says they offer "good food" when this place doesn't serve food on their...
Read moreMe and my husband have been waiting for this shop to open up for months. We live right by it, and when i saw it was finally open, I went in asap!
I walked in, and it was one of the shops didn’t have music in it. I didn’t let that bother me since all restaurants that open up or most small shops that open up don’t instantly have everything right off the bat so they might eventually have music, but that’s not going to bother me. The decor was kind of slim. They had a cute little plastic cherry blossom tree next to a very small, cute tea table and then they had a white bench on the other side of the wall. Decour wasn’t really there, but once again, they just open up.
The woman at the counter was very lovely. She seem like she was the owner of the store and If not, she’s doing her job really well. She even let me know if I had any questions just ask her and she will thoroughly go over the menu. The menu was simple, it’s a Coffee/Boba shop and not that hard to understand but if you’re new to boba tea then it’s good to know that someone can explain to you the menu. I got a strawberry green tea with kiwi popping Boba drink and a mango green tea with strawberry popping Boba drink. Waited about 7-10 minutes and then I got my drink.
They came in these really cute bear shaped cups, and for the price the size of the cup made sense. My opinion for the drink is a little less ice, less green tea more of the strawberry flavoring because I could not taste the strawberry flavoring at all. The kiwi popping boba was fine, but the green tea in my drink was just so overpowering that you can barely taste anything. It was almost bitter, and then my fiancé said his wasn’t as bad, but he would change it with less ice more flavoring and more boba because his had little to no boba in it.
Overall it’s a decent shop, they just opened so hopefully they take the feedback that everybody’s giving and tweak some things because they do have potential to be...
