My husband and I just recently went inside the shop to see what types of yarn they have. We were greeted by a seemingly nice woman, though very loud on the ears (loud enough to be heard through a wall). Who introduced us to the various hand-dyed yarns that they have and where they were from. Things seemed ok until I was asked if I was a knitter, and I replied that I was a crocheter. And when I asked if they knew of any fabric stores in the immediate area was promptly told that they do carry some fabric from the Studio 103 at the Plaza, and that the ONLY other place around is Studio 103 a the Plaza, and when asked if she was sure...was promptly told the same thing again that there isn't anything else nearby. There is a room in the back where Knitters can gather and work on projects.
The prices are very reasonable despite its touristy location. The owner, I believe, is very friendly and welcoming.
If you are into yarn and are in Ketchikan, make sure to check...
