108 Tap House & Burger Bar — Restaurant in Ketchikan

Alright, this is going to be a bit of a weird review. I want to preface this by saying that I have been in the restaurant industry for 15+ years. The food we had here today on August 17th 2025 was incredible. One of the best burgers i’ve had in awhile. Unfortunately though there was a situation that left a bad taste in my mouth.

It went like this - we ordered a cocktail. Their physical menu has no prices on cocktails. Cool, no issue there. They are going for the gastropub vibe, doesn’t bother me. Cocktail arrived and was consumed. For fun, we said let’s see if they have prices online! (We are out of country tourists so we were trying to estimate our bill.) Found it on their website, $14. Bill came, $18. Cocktail was worth $18, no complaints there. We politely pointed this out to our server who mentioned to us that their online menu hasn’t been updated in 5 years and the price was $18. Well… not cool. I’m not one to cause a stir over $4, but this can’t be the first time somebody has noticed it. Not to mention, the state of Alaska would consider this misrepresentation under the Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer protection act.

To the server - if you had said something like “oh i’ll let the owner know to update it, we wouldn’t be here leaving this review. Anyways i’m not going to do anything about it, but I thought that this should be put out there. See below. Killer...

I was completely disappointed when I arrived to your establishment last week (Friday, May 6th roughly around 1pm) and was refused service because I was in a mobility scooter! I was told by a female manager that “she couldn’t” house my scooter. I told her that I just needed a place to keep it in a corner as I could sit in a seat (use my scooter as I cannot walk long distance). She told me and my party nope - we can’t serve you. I then asked how she could discriminate again a person with a mobility issue and she flat out says - I can and it’s not all about you!

Wow! Great service 108 Taphouse! Great Service! See - you just refused service to a customer who was traveling with 3 YouTube channels with over 20k Subscribers (each) - including my own and not only that also being a travel agent who caters in Accessibility Travel! Can’t for all of us to post on how your establishment and your manager (Female, African American with Long Black Hair) likes to discriminate against people with mobility issues and refuses the right to service them as I quote her- It’s not all about you!” You should all be proud of yourselves and how your treat people with visible and non visible disabilities or...

Quite possibly the best burger I’ve had, ever!! We came by for dinner and had a great experience. The place is super small, only a few tables and some seats at the bar, but I absolutely loved that. The atmosphere was super energetic! They have a great list of local beers and their liquor selection was also quite impressive. We ordered a few brews but the bartender was slinging some really fancy, and tasty, looking cocktails. The food menu was equally impressive with a large number of burger options to choose from. We started off with an order of wings, which had very tasty hot sauce, but moved quickly to order dinner as the whole place smelled of delicious burgers. A few of us ordered the 108 Burger and one of us ordered the Pacific Northwest burger. The 108 burger was absolutely phenomenal!! The flavor was insane and paired very well with the 108 fries that came with it. Everyone enjoyed their burger so I can’t imagine you can go wrong with any of them. This place is a must visit, whether you’re here for a few days or a few hours. Excellent...
