Simply Salmon — Local services in Ketchikan

Do NOT order Salmon from here. We ordered Salmon and they shipped it to our house. If you are not home to sign for the Salmon, FedEx will not leave it at your door. No problems at this point. The Salmon went back to FedEx and when we were able to pick the Salmon up the next day, once we were notified with the thing on the front door, the Salmon had ruined and smelled up the whole house. At this point, Simply Salmon wasn't at fault. Where they are at fault is when we called to discuss the order and to let them know that the Salmon was either packed inappropriately or to see if they could take up the issue with FedEx. They were very unwilling to help in any way. I feel this is a complete tourist trap for those people visiting the area. If the buyers are on a trip and purchase the Salmon from this company, what are the chances that you are going to be home when they ship the product? They cheat customers!!! Be careful to shop at this store. We stopped at this store on August 12th and bought 5 bear claws which is 9.95 plus tax each. We paid cash so spend $50 US dollars in total. When we ask for a discount, the store owner said “ End of season, won’t have more of these bear claws, so no discount”. We understand and paid. But later in another bigger market we saw same bear claws is selling for $3.99 plus tax and the store indicated clearly on the lable the bear claws is replicate. So make sure to be careful.
