A Must-Do Experience in Islamorada – Blue Water Adventures!

Blue Water Adventures is truly a one-of-a-kind experience you don't want to miss while visiting Islamorada! The journey begins behind Bass Pro Shop, where you’ll find convenient parking and nearby restrooms to change before your tour. Simply walk down the ramp, pass the bar, and look for the charming Tiki Boat—your floating adventure awaits!

After a quick and informative safety briefing (my husband picked up the catamaran controls in no time), we set off on a 2-hour tour through the serene mangroves. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. Then came the highlight: a visit to the famous Islamorada Sandbar—an unforgettable treat!

While there, I found two baby shark teeth and a variety of colorful coral. It was such a joy to watch people BBQ, soak in the lively atmosphere, and learn fun local facts from our amazing guide, Ralph. His personality was a perfect blend of warm, witty, and informative—he made everyone feel welcome and at ease.

💡 Helpful Tips:

You will get wet (especially at the sandbar), so plan accordingly.

I brought my GoPro, which was perfect—I didn’t want to risk my phone.(this is why I have limited photos right now…I will update)

This tour was worth every penny. Between the natural beauty, the friendly vibes, and Ralph’s exceptional hospitality, this was hands down a highlight of our trip. You never know what you’ll find out there—but you're guaranteed a good time.

Me and my partner arrived in islamorada had amazing dinner at the fish company at bass pro and walked the piers and met eric and alana, they were so friendly and nice and helpful and shared to us what the boat tour was about and we just had to do it, we arrived next day and my partner was so nervous and was afraid of the ocean and boats but after eric did the safety presentation and explained how easy and safe it was to drive the 2 seat catmarans he was so much at ease, the tour was absolutly amazing and fun, we seen manatees wild birds sharks huge fish and mangroves that were so peaceful to be in my partner said it was better than our honey moon trip in cancun he had a great time and it brought us closer together, best part of the expierence was that we were treated with respect and did not put us down for being different guys, we will be back again, amazing gay friendly business made our day !...

Fantastically fun! The Craig Cats are so much better than jet skis. They are speedier than we expected and have none of the bone jarring and brain shaking that we have experienced on jet skis. They are small and nimble enough to go through some of the smaller cuts and mangroves. We had a great morning out in the Bay, through some mangroves, and a short excursion over to the ocean side and back to the Bay under the draw bridge. Our guide Ralph was fabulous. He made our outing fun while keeping us out of the pop up storm that tried to chase us. Overall, we would highly recommend Bluewater Adventure. They are friendly, professional, safety conscious, and extremely knowledgeable of the FL Keys and marine environment. We will definitely go out with them again on...
