The Banyan Tree — Attraction in Islamorada

This place is described as having tropical plants, unique gifts, women's clothing, jewelry, plants and art workshops. I would say it is all that and more! It has a very inviting entrance with a picket fence overflowing with blooming plants and the large trees give it a tropical feeling. Much time has been spent on creatively displaying plants for sale and outdoor decor. Plant starts, spades and containers make it evident that this place is owned by a true lover of Mother Earth. The boutique inside is unique from all the others along the highway. Reasonably priced jewelry, clothes and artwork are nicely displayed. I met Robin, who discussed artistic processes and even let me peek in the room where they hold art classes! I wish I would have found this place...

A Must Stop! I have been taking art classes here for awhile now and it is so fun! Robin our art teacher is the best! Every week is a new experience and a great way to spend an evening. And not only do they offer art classes, they have an amazing gift shop that offers clothes, shoes, baby clothes, jewelry, accessories and so much more! Decided to stop here with the family during our vacation in August. They have a beautiful garden and a small boutique. We were greeted upon entry. My son bought a leather-bound journal and my wife a flower hair clip. They do have a military discount; however, once we got home, we discovered the journal was way over-priced and you can purchase eight of the hair clips on Amazon for less than the price of one here.
