Great tour. Great staff. Well worth the money to go around the island and also have some free play time in the middle. I didn’t take pictures because I was busy having fun.

Here are my tips:

If you’re not staying at the resort and you have Uber/Lyft drop you off, you can’t get through the gate without someone letting you in. You can go through the main resort entrance and then walk to the south side of the hotel or you can flag somebody down on the other side of the gate. The office and jet skis are just inside the gate at the corner of Alberta Ave and Seminole St.

They provide you with towels to dry off at the end, but if you’re going to walk or take a ride share you may want some dry clothes or your own towel. You can leave those in the office so they stay dry while you’re on the tour.

I liked the 6:00 time because I saw the sun going down on the tour and it was cooler. That depends on the time of year and the temperature. But for my mid-March trip the last tour seemed perfect.

Use the bathroom before you go. There is a bathroom in the resort but not near the jet ski office, so you’ll feel less rushed if you take care of business in advance.

Be prepared to tip your guides. There will most likely be two. They can accept Venmo payments, but cash is always the better tip. I add this reminder because people seem to have forgotten that people who work these jobs deserve and should be tipped. Even with the tip the price is very fair.

If you’ve never driven a jet ski in the ocean, you might want to watch a YouTube video first, especially to learn how to control the jet ski when you’re going slow it turning off the engine. There were people in my group who were clueless because they didn’t listen to the instruction the guides gave and they didn’t prepare in advance. If you’re one of these inexperienced people, you will enjoy it more if you learn a little in advance (or at least listen carefully when you get there).

Amazing Jetski Tour Experience! - First Timer, Non swimmer

Why am i writing this big of a review is because had a bad experience with another jetski tour in same place key west which made me terminate the trip. As a first time jetskier i would recommend go singles instead of double as it becomes very difficult to maneuver and have control of the jetski.

So immediately booked Barefoot Billys jetski tour singles, and it was an unforgettable adventure! From start to finish, the experience was top-notch. As it was my first time i had a mixed feeling of fear anxiety and excitement. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, ensuring i felt safe and comfortable. Safety briefing was thorough, reassuring and explained the joy of the tour. Kudos to the guide "GUILLERMO FAYA SINCICH" famously known as "G" made me feel safe and motivated. He was on watch the whole trip. The jetskis were in excellent condition and last but not the least Mike who is in front desk was very helpful and made us feel comfortable before the trip.

The tour itself was exhilarating! We zoomed across the water, taking in stunning views of the coastline . The guide "G" was knowledgeable and shared interesting facts about the area, making the tour both fun and educational.

What stood out the most was the perfect balance of thrill and relaxation. There were moments of high-speed excitement and also opportunities to slow down and enjoy the serene beauty of the surroundings.

As a first time jetsking experience I highly recommend this jetski tour to anyone looking for an exciting and memorable experience on the water. I myself couldn't believe that it was my first time as i picked up speed and was driving at 50m/h :). So i would say It's perfect for both beginners and experienced riders. Can't wait to...
