Indigo Boutique Key West — Local services in Key West

Worst customer service and treatment of people I've ever seen in a boutique anywhere I've ever been in my entire life. My family and I went in to check this Boutique out last week when we were there in key west. My husband saw a beautiful shirt that was on a hanger and had three necklaces on the hanger with it he picked it up and told me that it would look really pretty on me and then he asked I wonder how much these necklaces are the man who was working in the store overheard our conversation and butted it in with the snootiest, most condescending tone. He said the price is right there on the necklaces ! When we saw how much the necklace was w my husband and I said wow I wonder what these are made out of to be that much. The man working in the store came over to my husband and literally took the hanger with the shirt out of my husband's hand!!! took the necklaces out of my husband's hand and put them on the hanger and then proceeded to put the hanger back where my husband had picked it up from and wiped the front of the shirt down with his hand as if he was decontaminating it from us while we were standing right there!!!!!and he turned and walked away. The message was clear he did not want a shopping there so we turned and left. Unfortunately he has other reviews that say the exact same thing. apparently this is the owner of the store and he has no shame about how he treats his customers. most places understand that some people can't afford things and still treat you kindly and say thanks for coming but...

Was in Kew West all March, visited Indigo Boutique as I noticed a beautiful necklace in the window. The owner was super helpful and we spoke for a long time about the beautiful stones and he showed me a selection of stunning handmade pieces. He picked up on my accent and said his wife was from the same city as myself. I chose 2 necklaces 1 Tigers eye with a carved steers head and a beautiful amazonite and mother of pearl tusk. The two pieces are absolutely spectacular. I’ve seen similar ones but not with the quality stones that these have. Had lots of compliments when wearing them!! I would Give this place a negative review but I can’t , just walked into the store and I guess I didn’t fully close the door which was my fault I wasn’t fully aware of it so some guy told me to close the door which I did and then said “what’s your problem, why did you slam the door” first off I didn’t. I didn’t even look at the items in the store because some bald headed guy was so rude and unprofessional immediately after I entered. My response was “I was going to give you guys some business” and his response was “take your business somewhere else”. I gladly will, he probably doesn’t understand his business thrives off of customers. His loss. There are far better boutiques in key west anyways don’t bother...
