Ron Jon Surf Shop — Local services in Key West

The store is a smaller ron jon from others I’ve been to but they squeeze a lot of good selections in there with the space they do have! It was a bit difficult with the smallish walkways to squeeze by other customers and look at my leisure but that’s my only complaint, and not worth docking them a star for at all. The staff were all SO friendly, especially the young fellow who checked us out up front. He was pleasantly chatty both times we went through, and recognized us the second time instantly. He gave us compliments which are never a bad thing and was courteous and enjoyable to have help us! The other staff was kind and complimentary as well. I wish I’d gotten names, but the guy who checked us out was a slender tan fellow with some gorgeous curly long dark hair. You can’t miss him if he’s working there. Before you even walk into this Ron Jon location it just looks so inviting and like you need to at least check it out. It’s pretty much your typical Ron Jon- lots of cute clothes and little trinkets and other. And on the second floor, all the beach/ surfing gear you could want or need.

Also, keep your eye on the Hydroflask/ Yeti water bottles and stuff they sell because they have some small sale items- when I went we found a few 32oz Hydroflask water bottles on sale so we snatched them real fast- and if you know anything about Hydroflask you know they’re expensive because they work really well, so any kind of sale you have to jump on right away.

But yeah, it’s definitely worth at least popping in this store if you’re there! Just be careful of your pocketbook because you will most likely find something to...

So I would like to start out that I absolutely thought they had a great selection and the shop is gorgeous itself...the only thing I have an issue is, is that they had no larger sizes. I’m slim waisted but I am larger in my thighs...they had up to large but once you got to there it was $50 for a pair of shorts the cheaper shorts didn’t have larger sizes. The man wasn’t mean but had a little bit of an attitude when I asked if they had larger sizes. I just wished there was a little bit more selection or maybe even XL options given in the store. I just think it’s a little unfair that it pertains more to the petite women (which I get is how most stores are) but I didn’t know they was gonna be THAT small.
