I made reservations weeks in advance for a late brunch at 3pm for a party of 7 specifically to watch the speedboat parade on November 5th, requesting the 2nd floor for better viewing. An hour before our arrival I received a phone call asking if I was aware that our reservation was for brunch, as they began dinner service at 5pm and the upstairs was closed for the boat parade...I confirmed our time and explained that my specifications were to eat while we watch the boat parade. She agreed and wanted to let me know the 2nd story was closed, but that we had a table outside downstairs. Great. Less than 10 minutes later I received another call from a manager stating that they needed the table for dinner service and that we - 7 people!! - would need to be finished by 345 so they could set it and turn it over for dinner. I told them we had 7 people coming specifically to watch the boat parade at 4pm. She acknowledged that, but the table would need to be vacated and reset for 5pm. I told her that was unacceptable. She offered for us to come early, or if we wanted to move our reservation to a dinner time slot. The whole point was to watch the boat parade, which passed right in front of the restaurant. We had other plans later that night so dinner was also not an option. Since they were unable to keep our reservation as it stood, I canceled. I suggested that if they are unable to accommodate reservations so close to dinner, that they close those timeslots out on Open Table to avoid this from happening again. As I spoke to her, open table still had 315 and 345 timesslots open to reserve. I'd been to this restaurant before and had a great experience. It was very disappointing that my reservation was not managed on time, resulting in us having to change plans last minute. We would have likely spent about $800 and we tip well. As I told the manager who called me - there are a million other places to eat in Key West and I will...

We popped in for a quick bite and were immediately drawn in by their "Beats & Brunch" menu – and let me tell you, they live up to the "beats" part! There was a fantastic DJ spinning house music right on the front porch as you walk in, setting an energetic and fun atmosphere. It was truly unique and made for such a memorable experience.
The food was just as impressive. I had the Biscuits A la Mode, and it was absolutely delicious – a perfect savory and sweet combination. Our bartender, Ana, was a sweetheart and mentioned it might be a rotating item, so if you see it, grab it! My girlfriend opted for the Bagatelle salad, and she raved about how fresh, healthy, and satisfying it was – definitely great recovery food after a lively Key West weekend!
And the margaritas? They were exceptional. We were looking for a really good margarita in Key West, and this was definitely the right spot. They don't mess around with cheap sour mix here; Ana explained they use fresh lime juice, agave, and the premium Herradura Reposado tequila (the one pictured, which speaks volumes about their quality!). The result was simply divine – easily at the top for best margaritas on the island. My espresso martini was also spot on.
Overall, the combination of the vibrant house music, outstanding drinks (thanks, Ana!), and delicious, fresh food made for an unforgettable brunch. Bagatelle's "Beats & Brunch" is a must-do in Key West for anyone looking for a lively and delicious start to their day. We loved every minute and highly...

To start, I ordered the crabcake and it was perfectly golden and crispy on the outside, while the inside was packed with a balance of crab meat and filling. It was accompanied by a creamy and delicious aioli that added a luxurious touch, enhancing the overall experience with its rich flavor.
Pairing perfectly with the crabcake was the refreshing peach mimosa. This drink was a delightful twist on the classic brunch staple. The sweetness of the peach juice combined with the sparkling wine created a light and invigorating beverage that was both refreshing and easy to sip. It was the perfect companion to my meal, bringing a touch of sunshine to the table.
Next up was the Bagatelle Salad, which featured juicy grilled chicken, crisp pear slices, and a light vinaigrette that brought the whole dish together. The chicken was tender and flavorful, complemented beautifully by the sweetness of the pear. The vinaigrette added just the right amount of tang, making the salad a harmonious blend of flavors and textures. It was a refreshing respite amidst the more indulgent offerings of the menu.
Overall, Bagatelle met my expectations with its delicious offerings and inviting atmosphere. If you're in the area, this gem is definitely...
