Poor Service! This is an Under statement! Bad Management! NO FOLLOW UP!! Honestly they don't even deserve a one Star.
We ordered a door in April 2019 and was told it would take a week to 2 weeks to arrive and that they would contact us when the door came in. Great. No problem. Long story short. No one ever called after 8 wks.🤔
I contacted their customer care. The store manager finally called to say. Yes your door is here for pick up. It just came in today. RIGHT! June 8, 2019 We said. Wow it's about time. We stopped in to pick up our door after 8 weeks of calling and making several visit to the store to follow up.
Wait for it!!!! Oh Sh##!!!!! The door was the WRONG SIZE! Surprise! W.T.H. IS WRONG WITH THIS PLACE. They can't get a simple door order right.
We'll NEVER GIVE ANOTHER DIME TO THIS COMPANY. THE STORE IN KINGSPORT, TN is a JOKE! WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND EFFORT!

They can't even buy a Clue! Now to be fair, not all of the associates are clueless. But their Store Management are clueless and the person that took our order... WELL. IF THE SHOES FITS. YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO!!
The company might want to invest in training their people on how to follow up with their customers and teach them how to place a simple door order!
We will never shop at this store again. We tried to be understanding but after waiting for 8 wks and the door wasn't the right size. OMG! Are you kidding me! We cancelled the order & we went to Lowes! They know how to take care of business. We'll be ordering 9 more doors from Lowes for the rest of the house. Not to mention the rest of the supplies needed for our major home improvement projects. We'll be buying from Lowes for all of our other properties going forward.
Thank you Home Depot for NOTHING!!! Don't worry. I'll be sure to tell all of my friends and family to shop at Lowe's NOT Home Depot, and anyone else that will listen.

Read moreThe place you hate to love. It is a hit or miss experience coming here. By that I mean, depending on your knowledge base, and who is working can be a nice, fulfilling experience. Or an frustrating, never going back, until you need something else experience. My biggest frustration is it is too often a frustrating experience. The biggest issue is the personnel, while usually very friendly, and wanting to be helpful, they too often do not have people available that have knowledge in the area you have a need for tools or supplies. Most recent visit was the frustrating kind. Had an electrical issue and could have really used some advice on a specific tool and what supply I needed to accomplish my task. Yes I could have called an electrician (two wanted $500+) for my issue. Compared to $35 for a tool and one or two pieces to fix my issue. The personnel available, were friendly and wanted to be helpful, but sent me running around the store to "not" find what I thought I needed. And could not offer any direction to best accomplish said task. One gentleman I finally broke up a gab fest with another staff member, and asked him to cut a piece of would. And while he did warn me they "don't guarantee precise cuts..." I would of expected them to be; A- close. B- straight. I wound up wasting that piece and putting my other half. Yes I could have done that to start, but having just a hand saw, and the shakes. Lesson learned, disappointing, but now I know better. Wound up having to order online to get what I finally used....
Read moreHome Depot is almost always a great visit. They have great stuff and during my home remodel over the last 2.5 years and spending over 60k there. New kitchen 3 bathrooms, Graniteville, countertops, cabinets, tools, landscaping materials, and a while lot of wood and sheet rock plus lighting, etc, and paint lots of paint! The paint guy here is awesome, too! He has been there the whole time I have shopped at this location. Every time a great experience. There was only one time they made me angry. I got a Ryobi pressure washer and the thing leaked oil we used it two times and I didn't realize it was leaking till it was in the garage for a week and we pulled it out to use the second time. I called and asked if it was too late to bring it back. The 1800 number said I had 90 days. I get to the store with the leaky Ryobi pressure washer. And they said they can't return it cause it's only 30 days on things with engines. I was mad cause I had bought it 35 days earlier, and what's 5 days on a defective product. Finally, after a manager approves it. The guy put it in the system and says "nope it won't let us return it." I told him to get his manager again cause she had already approved the return. So after an hour I got refunded but on a gift card. Lowes gets a lot more of my business now cause of this. But I like some of the brands Home Depot has better, and their wood selection Is nicer.
