A Magical Birthday Celebration at Anna's Art Lab.
We recently celebrated my daughter's 4th birthday party at Anna's Art Lab, and it was nothing short of an enchanting experience. From the moment we entered the lab, it was evident that Anna has a special touch when it comes to creating memorable events for kids.
Anna is a warm, caring, and incredibly talented artist who has a unique ability to connect with children of all ages. Her genuine love for her craft and enthusiasm for teaching made the entire experience thoroughly enjoyable for everyone involved.
The art lab itself is a vibrant and inviting space, brimming with creative energy. The walls are adorned with inspiring artwork, and the shelves are stocked with a variety of materials that are sure to spark the imagination of any budding artist. Anna ensured that every child felt included and had the chance to unleash their inner artist.
The birthday party was expertly organized, with a perfect balance of structured activities and free play. Anna guided the kids through a fun and engaging art project, allowing them to express their individuality while creating beautiful keepsakes of the special day. Parents were impressed with how well Anna managed the group, keeping them captivated and entertained throughout the party.
The atmosphere at Anna's Art Lab was warm and welcoming. It was hands-down the best birthday party experience we've ever had.
I cannot recommend Anna's Art Lab highly enough for anyone looking to create a magical and unforgettable birthday party for their child. Anna's skill, passion, and ability to connect with children truly sets her apart and makes for an extraordinary celebration that will leave a lasting impression on everyone...
Read moreI have mixed feeling about this place. On one side, my kid seemed to have hands-on opportunity for a variety forms of art projects and she really enjoyed it. On the other hand, I had this one unpleasant conversation with the owner. I was picking up my kid when she was half-way through her clay painting work. We were in a rush to go somewhere afterwards. I asked the owner if my kid's clay work will go to trash or if we can pick it up later. For some reason, the owner just picked up on this one single word "trash" and lectured me on how kids' art work is not trash and told me in a serious way that she's deeply hurt by this word. By "lecture" i meant she started with "let me show you my other trash" and then walked around and pointed to some of the little art work she or other kids created while repeating the word "trash" in a sarcastic way. This happened while we were in front of several kids. I explained that I didn't call the art work trash. I meant to ask if she'd trash it or can we pick it up later and whether we need to pay extra when we pick it up. I explained that we made some art work in an art studio while visiting China and the owner there asked us to pay extra to get the finished work, otherwise it will end up in the trash bin. I explained to her that I was simply asking what she'd do with my kiddo's unfinished work. Then she went on saying, "Oh no I will never trash them. I'm not Chinese. I'm European." Hmmmm.... As a Chinese parent myself, I can't say I'm not offended at all by her reply. I'm sure a lot of this is just miscommunication. However, her passive aggressiveness still made me a bit...
Read moreWe are endlessly grateful for Anna and her incredible Art Lab! My entire extended family is absolutely blown away by her teaching and the beautiful work she helps her students create. The paintings my daughters made with her last summer were so stunning that my dad had them professionally framed, and they now hang proudly in his home. Just last night, my grandma asked if I could make a copy of them—she was in awe and said she’s never seen an art teacher bring out such powerful work from young students.
The studio itself is peaceful and so beautiful—walking in, I felt instantly calm. I joked that I wanted to replace my kids so I could stay there all day! It’s such a thoughtfully designed space that invites creativity and focus.
What’s most impressive is how Anna is able to teach truly sophisticated concepts in art in a way that’s completely accessible—even to little ones. My three daughters (ages 4, 6, and 7) not only had the best time, but they also came home having created what I can honestly say are masterpieces.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Anna’s Art Lab to any family. It's not just art class—it’s a place where creativity, confidence, and beauty come to life. Thank you, thank you,...
