I have come here in the past and had pleasant experiences but yesterday shocked me. I made a nail appointment on Monday for Wednesday at 3:30 pm with my friend. We are teenagers. We showed up 10 minutes early & I could immediately tell that the male that works here was in a bad mood. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and decided to change my idea because of the price point which was fine. This was my first time getting acrylics so I didn’t understand that a coffin shape nail has to be a certain length and could not be any shorter. He had filed my nails on 1 hand and when he asked if it looked okay i said.. word for word. “Could you please file them a little bit shorter?” I have never had acrylic nails before so I was concerned it would be hard to get used to. They were still plenty long. After asking this I was told to get up with 1 hand un-filed and that he would not be doing my nails. I sat on the couch uncomfortable waiting for Trish (who was so incredibly kind) shocked that he just had me get up and acted frustrated with me. He then began to yell “f this f stupid people” and other rude remarks. At this point I was crying because I was in shock at how loud and rude he was being over something so ridiculous. He also said repeatedly that coffin nails are not short nails, square nails are short nails, as if I would know this when I have never gotten acrylics before and simply showed him a photo and asked for that but a little bit shorter. He took my friend while I sat on the couch crying uncomfortable waiting for Trish. He then told my friend that he assumed we would never be coming back (my friend has gone there every time she gets her nails done for over a year and knew him so she knew he doesn’t normally act like this). My friend’s mom then showed up because we were uncomfortable to be there after he had yelled at teenage girls over something so small and he disappeared. I never got an apology. Don’t. I chose this salon hoping I would be happy with their service. I got a nail fungus, from a previous salon and I went to this salon, and after filing the nail fungus with the dremel, he put the contaminated tool back in the drawer to clearly reuse, and also the nail files he used on my “bad nail” were not disposed of, as they should have been.

I questioned my nails because they appeared to be lifting, (nearly all of them), from the previous bad salon and he told me they were fine and now I have more fungus affected nails. It’s very obvious he wants to be done and out the door asap. I am in around 5:30pm and he rushes and is not doing a good job and does not want to take time to properly care for my nails. I am out of state on vacation and found a salon that gave me good advice and aided in healing the nails with the fungus. Don’t use this salon.
