I just wanted to share my experience. After reading the reviews i decided to give walls a shot for new queen size mattress set. The business was clean the staff was knowledgeable about the products they offered. I decided on a Sherwood mattress set. I paid cash and we decided on a delivery date. We also discuss store policy if your not 100% happy! Great i thought all bases are covered. My delivery was set for Saturday afternoon.The early evening on friday the day before i get a call from delivery guys saying "were at your home" no answer when we knock. I explained i wasn't expecting them today. Also delivery was set for the next day. He said didnt you receive a call regarding this ? I said no i havent. I said i would be on my way but it might take awhile since im at 96th st in after work traffic. They agreed to wait for me which i was thankful. The guys were professional and nice.They apologize for the mix up on delivery date and me not getting notified. All is going well a couple weeks have passed. Then i notice lil changes in my sleep position and im not comfortable.Then i decided to look closer .Aw..ha! Theres a dip in the upper middle part of mattress. No wonder it seems ive rolled to the middle of bed.I decided to call and go over these details with the sales person there. She was friendly took my info and said the owner would follow up on monday. Theres no call back on mon or tues. On Wednesday i decided to call again my sales guy answers. He said i would hear from the owner today. After explaining to me my options on a return. I kindly said i wasnt interested in another mattress set or any type of credit towards buying another mattress. Once that point was clear later on i received a call from owner Austin. He let me know the usual process and the whole sales return policy. I told him about the dip in the middle and it had only been purchased a few wks ago. Needless to say..he made it clear this was a top selling mattress and hes had only one bad set that needed returned. He also let me know how many yrs hes been in this business and he also said once again i would be charged a restock fee because i wasnt happy with it and i wasnt willing to try another. He said restock fee is 20% so he said you will get a refund ck when we pick up mattress set. Minus the 20%. I said i know the bottom of receipt says there's a restock fee. But i dont see why i should be charged for a product that dipped in the middle..there could have been only one or many on that line that was sent out defective.So im being charged to return your defective mattress all because i choose not to try another or buy another? I said i wouldnt buy a car then find out its defective then turn around and buy another from the same business. This seems very wrong to me as a customer and i didn't agree with his restock policy. He said he had worked in the furniture business since he was a young teen, now celebrating his 80th birthday His knowledge regarding the differences in how various companies construct their products, the materials used, as well as other customers have reported with regards to how long their furniture lasted and showed wear. I don't think we could have found a more knowledgeable salesperson, and also, there was absolutely no pressure to make a sale. We shopped around in person and on line following our 1st visit and was unable to find a better deal, esp for the quality of the pieces we kinda splurged on, and we are very satisfied that we chose wisely. If I had any complaint at all, it would only be that although there were many dining sets that were absolutely gorgeous, the selection of bar stools was almost nonexistent. Otherwise everything from from 1st visit thru the delivery of our furniture the same week we ordered was all stress free. The young men who delivered our furniture were very respectful of our home and even offered to move around our existing pieces! All 5 stars, more added if it were possible! He was great at assessing and addressing all my needs, since I am short and not very strong any more. He showed me chairs that might fit me better and work better for my particular needs. The same when I brought hubby back, he is tall and due to illness not as strong as he used to be or wants to be. I appreciate his taking time to help us, REALLY help us! He has a good sense of humor and lots of fun stories to share as you try out furniture. He gave us great prices, worked with us on delivery dates since we have lots of appointments and my busy work schedule to work around. We bought two chairs!
