Tortas Johann Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Kokomo

Entered the restaurant it was clean and comfortable inside. We ordered 2 queso, 2 wet burritos (I don't like the beans so I asked for extra rice instead, that didn't happen despite being ready to pay extra and the waitress agreed she could do). The queso was barely warm, the chips were similar tasting to the Kroger brand. The food came quickly. The wet burritos were full of fatty, greasy, undercooked meats for both the steak and chicken. A watery Verde sauce and flavorless rice. Someone asked if the food was good, but continued to walk by not really wanting an answer. Queso is basically a blob at this point as it was lukewarm when we received it. The Nachos Oscar came and aside from the round, school lunch chips and canned nacho sauce that tasted like metal, they were the redeeming part of the meal. We left 95% uneaten and asked for the check. The cashier was informed that the meal was left mostly uneaten and absolutely unsatisfactory and she laughed, handed us our 55 dollar bill, and that was that. We left our food, uneaten on the table, mentioned it was not a positive experience and it was completely ignored. Great atmosphere but that...

Ate there twice. First time was served something i had not ordered. I ate it though but service was surly, unfriendly and almost non existent. Trying to pay was the same. Second time they messed up my wifes order. It went back twice and was still not right. Quesa was cold. My food got cold waiting and my wifes was clearly just a scrape off, and add instead of fresh and it too was cold. Again service was almost no one home and you gad the feeling you were bothering them with your presence. Both visits we were the only customers. Must be a reason for it. I have noticed his crazy response. Of course him not knowing we were there just supports the review. He has attempted to claim my property, tore down a portion of my fence. After 4 police visits and three county visits I was supported by both agencies. While talking to an older lady in my drive way he continued acting crazy repeatedly yelling Chinga su madre and marching up and down the property line. This restaurant has been closed for extended periods...

Food was ... alright. I wouldn't say that it had alot of flavor.

I'm basing this review mostly on the service.

-My cup sat empty multiple times for more then then 5 minutes until I requested for my cup to be filled up.

-each time the waitress came to the table we said thank you, and never once was responded or acknowledged.

-At one point we were the only family there and each time the waitress came she rushed away, and seemed to want to leave our table as quick as possible each time

-I have a 10 month old who obviously sits in a high chair, so I had to request that the waitress not stick things right infront of the baby, because .... we ordered chips and salsa and drinks and each item she stuck right in arms length of the baby.

My suggestion would be to make sure your staff makes your guests feel welcome...
