I was on a school outing and found this gem. After looking at the reviews, I walked in being greeted by all the workers. Very friendly, nice, attentive, but I was asked if I liked to try a candy... Hook line and sinker... Yum A beautiful Creamy Buckeye. The gentleman who started with me helped another set of customers when they came in since I was still deciding. I bought a French onion beef pot pie that he suggested, a chicken pot pie that another customer said was AWESOME, and lastly, Raspberry Cheesecake slice that was SUPERFANTABULOUS I told the workers, you are going to get my into trouble. So we laughed and I left. I got home and heated the French onion beef pot pie for my husband....IT WAS DEMOLISHED! SUPER HIT! My husband loved it! I am eating my chicken pot pie today. Stopped in with my boyfriend to grab some sweets and ended up walking out with enough to last us two weeks. We tried the espresso cheesecake, strawberry pie, and a various other treats. Everything was fresh and delightful. The atmosphere was incredibly charming and the staff were very friendly! Kelsey helped us with some recommendations and told us about some of her favorites. We only got sweets this time but their savory pies looked delicious too, we’ll definitely be returning to try some of their dinner options. I am very happy that Tastefully Indiana has moved into the former Mom's Pies location on S.Lafountain St. I've had several of their menu items and enjoyed all of them. They have a menu that changes monthly with unique foods such as cheeseburger pot pie, white bean chili pot pie with a cornbread crust, and French onion pot pie to name a few.
