Jared's in Lafayette has the worst Manager I've ever had to deal with. Unbelievable how weak her customer service skills are. Instead of trying to help the situation she gives me a 1800 customer service number to call. WTH? She is definatly there for a paycheck and lacks passion for her job. If you're selling engagement /wedding rings you should enjoy it. She would be more suited to work in a funeral home. Ugh I'm so angry. LET'S NOT FORGET JAREDS torched my brand new engagement ring and all I'm trying to do is find a diamond that equal to what was destroyed. I'm sorry but i deserved better treatment and I'm really shocked that higher up management wouldnt even speak to me. Now I have an engagement ring that I don't absolutely love and thats really sad to say but my ring will never be the same. Formal complaint has been made and I hope the district manager is more eager to help remedy this situation. Update it's been 3 days and I've yet to be contacted. The store the customer service and jewelry service is not deserving of the one star i left. Read moreKayti is amazing, she is the assistant manager at this location and I'd go back to her any day for my jewelry needs, even though I live two hours away. My fiancé and I went into the store to look for wedding bands after visiting the Davids Bridal across the street. Kayti was waiting for us at the door and helped me narrow down my preferences and quickly picked up on my taste. A few days later, my stone actually fell out of my engagement ring (not from Jared's) and Kayti was at the ready to help us replace it with a stone to almost its exact equivalent. Although I found my original stone, by some miracle, and the replacement wasn't needed, it was so nice to feel like there was a solution in place and someone ready to help. I took my now broken pronged ring and loose stone back to Kayti and she talked me through all my options for a new setting. She and her amazing team were able to make my ring new-and-improved and also be ready in the short time frame that I had for my elopement style wedding. Read moreThis store is the absolute worst! I brought my ring in for it's inspection and was told I had a broken prong and a couple loose diamonds. Left it to be repaired. When I came back, they told me it was repaired and gave me a box, in my car, cause I couldn't go in the store for whatever reason. It's 2024.. but anyways I looked before I left and MY RING WAS NOT FIXED! The repair place lied and said they fixed it, so I promptly went back in and had to wait another week to have it actually repaired. When I went back, I still questioned it but looked better then it did and they assured me it was fixed. Now, I had a diamond fall out and because i missed my inspection (due to their negligence last time, but I understand my warranty) they are trying to make me pay to replace the diamond THAT THEY SAID THEY FIXED. Not one person at the corporate level will help me either. I understand the warranty, and have followed the rules for 8 years, but I miss this ONE because I didn't trust their repair techs, and now they void my warranty. This place is trash....
