The Meat Market — Local services in Lake Delton

I’m so glad we found this fantastic butcher and market while staying in town. The selection at The Meat Market is spectacular; they offer a high selection of raw meat, pork, and chicken as well as sliced deli meats and cheeses. The store is also well stocked with lots of frozen meat options as well as cheese and smoked meat products. Lots of spice rubs, sauces, and snacks to boot. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They took their time to help us find the items we needed and offered expert recommendations along the way.

We’re staying in town for a week and will definitely be back for a second shopping trip to fill up the fridge. I would recommend this place to anyone and would give more than five stars if I could. Go here; you will not be...

I have worked in the food industry as a cook in Louisiana and Wisconsin. I am no master chef by any means, but it sounds like Ivaylo has a grand issue because he burned the barbecue! If you review the rest of his entries, he sounds as though he is a very impatient truck driver, so to guess, I would say he probably torched the meat thinking it cooks faster.

I myself, found the staff friendly, efficient, and the products very well cut and presented. I would graciously suggest the Summer Sausage (beef plain), the jerky, and additionally loved the ground chuck and burger. Thank you for making my in-suite cooking a joy to round off an excellent weekend. The next time I am through town...

It was good and now not so sure lately. Less than a week ago I bought a couple of boneless Rib-eyes and 2 pork grill chop bone-in pork chops and prices were up quite a bit. The Rib-eyes I cooked on a charcoal grill exactly like I've done for over 30 years and after getting them on my plate sitting down to eat within 5 minutes I had a plate full of water and the steaks were half as thick all of a sudden. The grill chops were broiled just like I've done for many years and they were like sawing and chewing on wood. It would be one star, but hoping they go back to a having a good reputation instead of running lots of new TV commercials to get new unsuspecting people in there to take...
