Kimberly Mexican Restaurant and Store — Restaurant in Lake Delton

When we went in it was full inside so we asked if we could just sit outside & lady at the counter said yes. We grabbed a couple of menus & walked outside. There were two families there before us. While we were waiting another family came & sat down. When the waitress came out she went to all three of the other tables & took their orders & brought them chips. As she started to walk back in I tried to get her attention but she never looked back. My husband finally just went inside & ordered, paying with a tip. While he was still inside the waitress came back out, looked directly at me but didn’t even acknowledge me. When she was going back in I again tried to get her attention. I kept saying “ma’am?” & even tried “Miss?”. After the third time I raised my voice. When she looked back she held her hand up. My husband came back out & sat down. The waitress came out & brought two menus. By this time, there were at least two other tables who had at least gotten chips & drinks. I told her that we were here before several of the other tables but never did got chips or drinks so we had to go inside to order. About this time the lady at the counter brought our food out. We were almost done with our food & still hadn’t gotten our drinks. My husband finished soo he went in & asked if we could get our drinks since we paid for them. Last place I would go to eat Mexican food. The restaurant looked more like a fast food place or a hot dog stand. So i recommend eating outside as the dining area is by far more inviting than inside.

The service was a little below average. The waiting staff spoke very little english, good thing my sister speaks spanish.

The worst part of this whole dinner which my brother paid over 100 bucks for was the food. My brother and his wife had the steak burritos and my sister and I had the steak fajitas. This is the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten in my life and Mexican food is one of My favorites. The steak burritos were almost all rice and hardly any steak. First off most Mexican restaurants use sirloin or flank steak. Kimberly's uses chuck steak and it was very fatty. None of us finished our meal and when we tried to tell the waitress but she acted like she didn't understand us my sister who speaks very spanish well explained to her that our food wasn't very good. The waitresses walked away and just left us the bill. The food was burnt and smelled like it.

Go anywhere but here. You truly will be disappointed and with the way the economy is today you will thank me for saving your taste buds and money. Taco bell would be better I do not...

I went to this restaurant on Wednesday night. We waited 10 minutes to get the menu and we had to ask for it. The young lady gave it to us and took our drink order. She brought the drinks 10 min later. Took our order and the table next to us started coming in. They had twice the people we had and ordered way more food than us but got their food first. Our drinks had gotten warm...ice melted and 30 min later no food. My Lil one was getting impatient and upset because we had no food. My husband asked about the food and they said it's coming.

There was also another table that got very upset with the service.

We waited over 50 min later...and my oldest got her food first then me.....10 min later we got the rest of the food with the exception of my Lil one. I grabbed a taco from my oldest plate and gave it to him...I asked the waitress and she came back with an attitude saying that he got the taco already. I said no I got it from his sisters plate. There was another young man trying to do the things right apologized and brought the taco. Last year we were here and we really liked the food and service but we won't be back.To the owners please add...
