Thanks for the consistently horrific experience at your store; truly unmatched. I have had better experiences at funerals. I can always count on finding the most depressed employees and even more depressed printers. Pretty sure not a single printer in the entire building works. I’ve met New Yorkers kinder than your staff. I have been coming here (sadly) for 3 years..
I came to return broken headphones. Was asked for a receipt.. No paper receipt, mine was emailed. The cashier asked for “the card,” so I clarified if she meant my rewards card. She said yes, so I said no. Apparently, she couldn’t look up my account by phone number. I found my emailed receipt, but she complained the scanner from 1995 couldn’t read an iPhone screen lol. She sighed and complained through typing the number in. I apologized many times throughout this conversation for being an inconvenience. There was no line behind me mind you lmao... Then she asked for “the card I paid with” and got irritated when I produced it, accusing me of “having it the whole time.” (Not the same card, but okay flex, bestie.) I apologized for the 10th time with zero acknowledgement.
I picked out a new pair of headphones and had to return to her register. I tried to lighten the mood with yet another apology. I paused when I had the choice to either email or print my receipt, I chose both, she quipped, “That looks like the face of someone forgot their email.” Bold statement, considering I’d just pulled up a receipt from that email. I will say you get a 10/10 for consistency. Treated me like I was the reason for your parents divorce till the bitter end.
I read your name tag but, I’ll spare the name because the real problem is usually the corporation. Office Depot.. pay your employees more than three McDonald’s hash browns an hour, and maybe upgrade from floppy disks. Your state of the art windows 95 system is frustrating for both customers and staff, and I’d rather roast the owners than the poor girl stuck with your...
Read moreSadly I have to add onto the poor reviews. I have been in here multiple times for different print jobs. Not once has it been correct the first try. I mean, I imagine one of the bigger parts of the business is printing yet half the time the printers or the lamination is malfunctioning. But instead of an employee calling me to tell me that my order can’t be filled due to the equipment not working, they have me waste my time saying my order is ready and come into the store just for me to see that it’s clearly not an acceptable print job. This has happened three separate times by the way. The worst part is they claim that they have a manager do a quality check. I really don’t know what they are checking for because none of the orders are acceptable. The part that bothers me the most is when I point out the flaws they just kind of stare at me I guess hoping I just accept it and move on. When I asked for my money back, it seems to be a real complicated process and this last time I didn’t even get my full refund. Today was the last day I waste my...
Read moreI purchased an office chair last week, - the store location was busy and I was looking for someone to assist me. Mario came up to me and asked if he could help. He was simply amazing, I showed him the office chair I was interested in and he checked inventory and had one left. Mario worked with me to ensure I could have the pre-assembled chair, he checked my rewards acount, which was an additional 10% and while helping me -- he was able to multi-task and help one other customer. Mario was and is a professional, knowledgable about the products, location, inventory, efficient -- he won't waste your time. It was just a pleasure to work with this young man, who represents the company and himself in a most positive manner. You will want to return to this Office Depot location for excellent service. Mario gets a 10 star rating from me on all categories. He even put the chair in the car for me. AMAZING...
