Have been to many Panda Express's before, hundreds of times even I'd say. This was the worst experience of any restaurant, not just Panda's, that I can remember. We came in the door and stood at the noodle and rice area, Maria G. (I found her name later) was behind the counter and did not even look up at us as she proceeded to box up around 5 orders, presumably for a to-go order as we were the only ones around. Around 10 minutes passes by as we patiently wait... she takes the food to the front register area, at this point a group of four or so people forms behind us, then two more come in the door, the line is building. Suddenly another girl comes out of the back and up to the rice and noodle area, she asks us what we'd like, but is cut off by Maria who tells her something in Spanish, this new girl then abruptly turned to the group behind us and started talking to them in Spanish, and started filling their order. I put my hands up as if to ask "what just happened?" and no one acknowledged us. I went up to the register where Maria was hiding out with the 5 orders. I simply asked her, "where is the manager on duty, I need to speak to them?" She replied, "there is no manager around, nor will there be any time soon." I asked "Well then give me the contact information and name of the manager please", she looked at me as if I was speaking some foreign language, her eyes grew wide. She says "I will not do anything if you're going to speak to me like that", I asked her "how do you want me to speak to you, I was very calm and clear, and even asked with a please?" she said "WITH RESPECT" and started walking around in the back area. Finally she came up and started to get a piece of paper out of the receipt printer, when suddenly another guy, Lez V. appeared and said "I'm in charge, what can I help you with", I told him "she just told me you were not here", he said "the manager is not here, but how can I help you?" I told him the same thing I told her, I want the contact information for whomever is in charge. He pulled out a generic Panda business card and said, "here, that is all you need". I asked "what is the name?" he said "it's on the card", I asked him to show me where, he pointed to a phone number. I said "that is not a name", they looked at me incredulously again, finally he said the name is Dow. I said fine, wrote down Dow, their two names, and went to go get back in line (as I knew they couldn't mess with my food as I could watch them prepare it). When I went to go get back in line Maria turned to me and said "You need to leave the store or we are going to call the police!" at which point I wanted nothing to do with that and left the store.
Apologies for the long review, but wanted to share my experience. If you want the WORST SERVICE you can imagine, then this Panda is for you. Otherwise avoid it...
Read moreWorst customer service. Ever. My fiancee ordered two plates, one bigger plate, two egg rolls and a three piece order of cream cheese Rangoon through their personal app. We were excited and very hungry. We waited over an hour for the delivery, which it looks like they use door dash as their delivery service, and we got someone else's order who has the same first name but different last initial than my fiancee. The delivery driver said that Panda Express said someone else had picked up the rest of our order, which was our actual order and insisted on them taking what little food the other person ordered to us. Our delivery person told them it was the wrong order completely and when asked if they would remake it they refused and wouldn't accept the idea that they messed up. After 20 minutes of unanswered phone calls to them and emails to try to get ahold of someone, they finally picked up the phone. And between getting put on hold several times so the worker could pass the messages between management and my fiancee, they finally came to the decision that they would have someone call to request a refund for us and that it would take 24-48 hours for us to get our money back. They refused to even remake the order if I would come and pick it up since they use a third party company to make their deliveries. All because they, and I quote, "can't do that". I am now boycotting panda express and I will never choose to eat anything from that company until either my time on this planet in this lifetime expires, or they go out of business. We have three people here who are still very hungry, and my fiancee has to go to work in just a little more than a half an hour which means she won't get to eat. I have eaten panda express maybe three times in my life and I never will again. Thanks Panda express, for losing three customers for life since you refuse to make the customer happy and actually giving us the food that cost us almost $50 just because you are too proud to admit you...
Read moreThis was THE worst experience I have EVER had in my life!!! I placed a pick order, paid for it with Venmo, received an email confirmation that the order was ready, AND a text letting me know the order was ready to pick up. I live in SD but am a CO native. The town I live in, in SD doesn't have Panda Express so when I come to Denver I make.a point to grab all the takeout I can't get in SD. Today I had a hankering for PE and spent $40 getting my grandkids and I PE. We went in and I told Jocelynn at the cash register I was there to pick up an order for (insert my name) to which she replied there wasn't an order for anyone by that name and had me verify I was at the right store. When I told her I was and showed her, she said someone had already picked the order up. I tried to explain to her that it wasn't me and she told me to go home and make sure it wasn't already delivered. I tried to explain it was a pick-up order and not a delivery. She told me to look at my order to make sure it wasn't a delivery, so I did. When I tried to show her, she flat out ignored me. I showed her the text I received informing me the order was ready, the order confirmation that the order had been placed, and my venmo payment. I asked her if she could remake the order, but she was unrelenting and had no intention of remaking the order! Even after I explained to her, this was my granddaughters dinner, she was unwilling to acquiesce. She was obstinate, rude, and unwilling to admit they had made a mistake by giving my order to someone else, nor was she willing to make it right by making sure I left her store with my order. It's so frustrating when you ask to speak to a manager only to find the person whom which your dealing with, who seems to lack the basic understanding of customer service, is In fact the manager! Jocelynn the manager at the Wads WV PE, should at the very least be demoted....
