Been shopping here for years. Its been getting worse everytime i go in to the store. I have 3 parties coming up and money to spend yet NO ONE helped me or greeted me. The customer coming out of a dressing room felt sorry as i stood there arms full, she gave me her dressing room. The employees were busy folding clothes. There was 1 person in dressing room when i arrived and no other cutomers. That person left. A few came and went, they grab gift cards 1 grab a shirt. So sad. I keep coming and ive left empty handed several times. With new emploees you would think you would get some that are friendly and work. I asked for help but was brushed off. When i went to the register they use to asked who helped you. She didnt she knew no one did yet i have 2 names on my reciept as if they did. Oh i got my basicly free gift. I wont be retuning to this store again. Im tired of leaving...
Read moreI've been a long time customer. Today Sept 3rd at 4:45pm i had an awful experience at the Torrid Store location in Lakewood, CA Mall. I was trying on clothes in dressing room when one of your employees walked in on me. She never knocked. She just walked in. I was so upset I walked out. I understand mistakes in life will happen. Normally i would not let it bother me and i would laugh it off. What i heard after she closed the door upset me. I over heard her telling a coworker. "That's the THIRD TIME I have walked in on someone today". Was this a game to employees? how many times can we walk in on someone or how much can we see?
Every other retailer and Torrid store i've been to the employees KNOCKS on the Door no matter if they know the dressing room is empty. Is knocking not standard policy? I will never shop at the Lakewood...
Read moreUsed to be for large goth girls, now you'll see beige everywhere, "wine 'o clock" adjacent slogan shirts and leopard print. Fun legging patterns are online only. Short peoples leggings and pants, online only. But the main gripe with the company is that they're constantly discontinuing bra designs (yes also the fabric patterns seasonally as you'd expect, but I'm talking about serial numbered designs that have a consistent shape of the fabric, cups, frame and bridge all together) it's maddening. If you find one that fits just right, take out a loan and buy as many as you can carry because it'll be gone next season, replaced by something very similar visually but with a different serial number indicating a redesign. When they do something well they do it really well, but consistency is key and they just can't seem to...
