Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Lancaster

Working a graveyard shift makes it difficult to get a good lunch if you didn't already bring one, So the only place that would deliver to my job was the Pizza Hut @ 1979 W Avenue L, Lancaster, CA 93534 ....After an hour and a half I called to check on my order, not only did they cancel my order because the guy wrote my business number wrong, but they no longer had the pasta I wanted. so I settled for an individual pizza (YUK). I was not in the mood for Pizza, and some wings. when they delivered it the pizza was ok but loaded with mushrooms (YUK) and the wings were not fully cooked.... raw centers !!! that was nasty !!! I ended up cooking the wings just to have my edible lunch. Seriously.... its not that hard to bake wings. !!!! I will NEVER order from them again !!! Plus the driver's body language was negative as my card is one of those flat cards with not raised numbers and he tossed the card back to me on the counter (on video). Well, this was my 2nd trip trying to redeem my bday reward. The 1st time the code wouldn't work. After trying thru my email I went to the store. The clerk said try the app or the website. Neither one worked & after that she couldn't tell me anything else to try & the code was expiring that night. She couldn't even give me a phone # that I could call for help. I did find a couple of #'s, the 1st wasn't helpful but the 2nd # was hut rewards & she was great, said she would send me a new code & when I went to get it, the code was there AND it worked. Yay! Placed a delivery order that came to $55, and I tipped $15 for the driver. The pizzas themselves were delicious, so 5 stars there. Major props to the cooks. My problem though is the same problem I have with most of these mega-corporations nowadays in them contracting out their deliveries to DoorDash drivers. My pizzas were delivered much later than the last provided ETA (ie; once the pizzas left the store) and they were lukewarm. Reading some of the other reviews about just this particular location, my experience doesn't seem like an isolated one. If you order from here, my suggestion would be to just do yourself a favor...
