I frequently review places and I love Jack in the box or used to until today. Sadly I was judged by a person of less status than I and same race. KIM automatically assumed my nephew was going to "steal" soda when he politely asked for water. I'm the one who asked for the water cup after he asked for "water" in front of KIM. After I asked she stated "don't get soda I will charge you." I then replied he asked for water and we would never. She then replied if you steal soda we will charge you and that she seen people ask for water cups and get soda. First of all KIM my nephew explicitly stated he only wanted water. You should have gave us the cup with no comment. If you want to enforce a rule put a sign on the wall or machine dont just use your prejudices to assume someone's gonna steal. If I and my nephew were like she assumed I would have told him to get a drink and pour it everywhere for her to clean up by my assumption she should be cleaning not behind the register. You see how assumptions are unfair. Thank God I respectfully recieved my poor quality cold food and left with my dignity. Read moreI went thru the drive thru yesterday 1/30 and was helped by Arianna. I ordered an ice coffee and a chicken sandwich. She gave me my change and my coffe and said have a good day and I drove off. Around 7:25 I noticed I was missing my sandwich and I called that location exactly at 7:30. The person that answered the phone stated my sandwich was still there and I could go back for it. I explained to her I was far and couldn’t go back so the person that answered stated I could go back on 1/31. She said to give her name and my sandwich would be given to me. I went this morning and the manager Mike stated there was no one named Roby/Ruby working there. I asked who was there yesterday and stated he didn’t know which makes no sense. How are you going to be a manager and not know who was there. I showed him my receipt and asked he contact Arianna since she took my order to which he refused. He was of no help and condescending. At the window, the manager asked if we wanted any sauces besides the sweet and sour that came with egg roll order as listed on the receipt. We asked for ranch for the fries that was another part of our order. He said okay and asked us to pull around to the front to wait for our order to be brought out. Another employee, young man with dark hair, brought our order out. I asked about the the sweet and sour sauce and he stated that we had to pay extra for the sauce and went back inside. I went inside and showed the receipt with the sweet and sour sauce on it. He and the manager both said we would have to pay extra or we could trade the ranch for sweet and sour. I did not see a sign in the drive-through, nor inside that there was a charge for extra packets, nor did the manager mention it when we were at the drive-through window. Due to their rudeness and lack of customer service, we will not go back to that location and will think twice before visiting any other Jack-In-The-Box locations.
