PanPan Wok — Restaurant in Lancaster

You get the most food for the money here than any other restaurant I know of. The breading on the orange chicken is too thick for me but other than that the food is great! I love the black pepper chicken, jalapeno chicken, broccoli with beef and also the wonton soup. The wonton soup has shrimp, fish and tons of fresh veggies for $7.99 and I can tell it is made to order! No mushy veggies or tough seafood here! Bless the main woman working behind the counter she is nice but has a severe accent and is hard to understand. The masks and plastic partition nor my hearing loss help the situation but we get through it with no misunderstandings. I'm here at least twice a week! Visited the place by accident and decided to try the food, I had noodles, orange chicken and beef broccoli, but they had other dishes on display which I didn't try, the prices are there for everyone to see and are clearly marked, the inside has few tables and the overall place looked clean. The food however, is nothing to write home about, is very commercial and the taste is below average for this type of joint in my opinion. The food was not good at all. The tiny bit of beef that was in the broccoli beef was mushy and light in color like it was boiled. Nasty. The chow mein was not stir fried at all. The fried rice needed flavor and not fried at all. Chinese food from these fast food places are getting worse everywhere, this one included. The Chinese owners should remember how they prepare and cook the food like they did at home so they can have an edge over the other Chinese fast food places. People will pay more for better quality food. This place does give really big portions of nasty food so if you just want to get really full and still have leftovers...
