Gorgeous space and kind people all around, unfortunately seems to be hit or miss as far as stylists. What you get may not look like what’s featured on their Instagram/website. After going here for about seven months just looking to do a solid color with long layers, I was starting to think perhaps I wasn’t voicing what I wanted correctly. I tried to reiterate what I was looking for at each appointment and continued to go because I thought maybe it was me. Now, I believe my stylist may have been a bit inexperienced or did what they thought to be best instead of what I had asked. I wish they would’ve told me what they were doing, or even that they were not confident in doing the service so I would be able to go elsewhere. Upon going to a new stylist for a consult, I was shown that I not only have three different shades in my hair, but that they did an ombré, there’s banding, and no layers whatsoever. They continued to just pull color through without actually retouching the roots and I suppose not cutting actual layers even though I was in fact paying for a root retouch, haircut, etc. The color I wanted is a few shades lighter than my natural hair, and the grow out is dark from not being retouched so when the color fades after a few washes it looks like my natural hair color, I’ve basically thrown hundreds at it to look like I’ve been growing out this color for a year lol. For the amount of money and time spent, it is disappointing. Be wary of newer stylists, and don’t hesitate to try other salons in the area that may be less...

The Charlee is the best hair salon in Lancaster - and possibly the best salon I've ever been to anywhere! The overall experience is phenomenal. The entire team is friendly and experts in their fields. When you walk into The Charlee, the staff warmly greats you, invites you to change into a robe, and offers you a beverage. The environment is modern, beautiful, and comfortable -- it's truly calming and uplifting! The service is unmatched - not only because they are so good at what they do, but because of the extra steps they take to provide you with extra care and comfort such as an essential oil scalp massage and nourishing hair masks. I've been seeing Nicole for hair cuts for a few years now and I truly see an improved difference in how my hair moves and styles, as well as the overall health...

What a wonderful visit. When I walked in, I really liked how the space is so bright and clean. Grace welcomed me, since it was my first time, and explained where the robes were and brought me a drink.

Meg did a great job on my brows and really took her time with shaping.

Brandon did an amazing job with my hair and it is probably the best haircut I have gotten in a VERY long time. He took the time to talk through what I was looking for and made suggestions for what he thought would work best.
