Michaels — Local services in Las Cruces

To the two employees working at 8:00 p.m. June 3rd, 2024: What a horrible experience. Not only did I get the stare down as I walked in, but you both very obviously followed me as I tried to look for supplies. Even going so far as to completely turn your head after passing by me to stare me down some more. I was watching you back. I was not poorly dressed nor do I carry a purse so I'm not sure what would trigger this behavior. I am the short white blonde with neon yellow in my hair and just wanted you to know who's making this review and to say screw you. You did not follow Latino or Hispanic people in the store. Just me. This seems to be a common experience in this area. Hobby Lobby does not treat me this way. Great way to introduce Michael's to Las Cruces. First and last purchase. I should have went with my gut to turn around after the creepy look you gave me when I entered. Employees are super nice (read a review about them following someone…I could see that being a thing where they have been overtrained to be helpful but also many of them are very young and still learning). Disappointed there is no fabric and party supplies are really geared toward weddings only, but the selection of cake/baking stuff is great and they have some kids crafts and supplies no where else has.
