Old Navy — Local services in Las Cruces

I drove 45 minutes to get to the Old Navy located on E Lohman because of stock availability. I spent an hour in the store looking for jeans and finally found some items I was ready to purchase. I then proceeded to checkout and the manager there Bernadette, told me that she would offer me a student discount if I am a student. I then told her that I do not have my ID on me at the moment because it is at home since we are on spring break this week and I pulled up my student account on my phone proving I am a student. She declined and told me it had to be the actual ID. I then pulled up a picture of my ID on my phone and asked if she could override since the student discount was only 10%. She told me no and that the policy was more important. She continued to cut me off with "I apologize but it's policy". My purchase came up to 250$. I asked her to cancel the transaction. I drove back to EP to get my ID and then drove back to NM to present my ID for the student discount wasting 200 miles of gas. She continued to tell me how she doesn't want to lose her job but I had no idea as a manager giving a student a 10% student discount could result in losing your job. Poor...

Favorite place to buy clothing! I usually shop during their up to 70% off entire store sale. I absolutely love their dresses and jumpers especially their summer collections. Another great thing about Old Navy clothing is that the clothes usually run a bit larger so I'm usually a pant size smaller as well as for dresses and jumpers which makes me feel a little better about myself, sadly lol They offer very cute children's clothing as well!
