I always come here for breakfast. Their food is great and their baked goods and coffee are delicious. It's a quiet and clean place to relax with some coffee and a friend or a book. You order at the counter, then they bring it to you and they also bus your table for you, so it's like a blend of fast food and sitdown. The overnight oats and the paninis are to die for. You can find all the nutritional info for their menu items online since they're a chain, in case you're dieting or diabetic. They have catering and you can get stuff to go as well. Getting in here from across Lohman could be better and the parking is often totally full but I've never had a long wait here to order or to get my food, even when they're slammed. When I had a baby in the NICU, I ordered a big cookie box from them to be delivered to the NICU staff, and it was delivered promptly and the nurses loved it!!

The pandemic inspires us to seek out restaurants with outdoor PATIOS and lots of fresh air. We were pleased to find this place, a quick hop off the main highway. We were happy with the pasta, soup, sandwich and salad choices. I had the spinach-fruit-goat cheese-pecan crisp with strawberry vinaigrette and it was divine. The only reason we dropped a star is because of unclear directions when we entered: after stating we would be sitting on the patio we were given menus... ...so we walked out and sat on the patio waiting [and waiting] for someone to take our order. Only to discover the setup involves placing and paying for your order *first* then receiving a laminated card with a number to stick in the holder on your table with DIY coffee and fountain drinks. Yup, we figured it out before we got too hangry. 🤣

We placed a to-go order and ordered a waffle breakfast sandwich that costed over $17. When we arrived, we still had to wait at the same to-go window as people placing an order, which defeated the purpose of ordering ahead. Then, we got to our destination and opened our food containers to discover this. It looks like it’s literally just a Belgian waffle platter. In no way is that a sandwich, and it couldn’t even be put together to eat like a sandwich because the waffle was so soggy. They also forgot the pepper jack we paid extra for. We reached out using the contact form on their website a week ago with no response. Extremely unimpressive. The picture is after he started trying to construct a sandwich himself.

I had the prime rib sandwich that looked delicious on the menu board. I asked for extra "mayo"... I do not like a dry sandwich... The cook totally blew it with HEAVY balsamic mayo and really really ridiculously plopped it HEAVY onto ONE VERY thin slice of "prime rib" that DID NOT cover the entire bread halves though the balsamic mayo did! ALOT OF BALSAMIC MAYO MIX SOUR UGLY TASTE. The waitress tried to make it right after I complained by having the cook remake the sandwich which again had one thin slice of "prime rib" meat... I was SO disappointed again; waitress explained that the meat was too expensive and that they had changed vendors and were limited on the meat for sandwiches; before I knew it another waitress came with a pile of thin slices of "prime rib" meat claiming I had asked for extra meat (not true my question was why did my sandwich not look like the one on the menu with 'hefty' meat). The extra meat was awful in taste; never again; too much trouble for everyone and NOT worth it. I left their plate in it's entirety other than a small bite to try out newly made sandwich. I should have asked for my money back!!! This...

On may 25, 2025 around 11:45am, I ordered 3 items at the Corner Bakery Cafe at 2305 E Lohman Ave, Las Cruces, NM 88011 (Tuna sandwich, Southwest salad, and a fountain drink). The staff forgot to put corn salsa on my salad. When I pointed out the error, the manager came to my table and gave me a small cup that I put on my salad. She came back and asked if I was missing corn salad, and I told her I was. She actually gave me a cup of salad dressing, which wasn't Ranch. She told me she would go back and get the salsa, and I explained that she messed up my salad, and gave me a random dressing, and requested that my salad be remade the right way. She was upset and gave me a nasty look, instead of taking accountability for their errors. That manager should have asked me, or at least offered to have a new salad made, instead of assuming that I would be happy with having a second dressing, that would probably not taste good with the ranch dressing that I already had on the salad. The manager came with my new salad, placed it on the table and didn't say a word to me. No apology or taking accountability. It was unprofessional, and poor...

I hate leaving poor reviews. I understand that the majority of bad experiences are accidents and I generally don’t mind. Unfortunately, this particular corner bakery has a pattern of poor customer service. I order my lunch to go from this location frequently. It’s cheap and relatively healthy. But when I go to pick up my food I am consistently ignored and unacknowledged for a good 2-5 minutes depending on the day, even by the manager who three times now has made eye contact with me then just turned around and walked away. It takes no time or effort to look at someone standing right in front of you and say “we will be with you in a moment”. Occasionally whoever does finally acknowledge me is just shy of being rude, as if taking the 12 seconds to hand me my food is the worst part of their day. Also, about half of the time my order is wrong. The sandwich I ordered was made wrong, the wrong chips, my silverware is missing, no napkins, etc. I am considering spending the few extra dollars and just getting my lunch from Jason’s or Mcalisters where I can depend on customer service that is at least...
