702 Mart — Local services in Las Vegas

I wasn't sure about this place because of the name but now, in retrospect, (and that's over the past 4 to 5 weeks for me) I can HONESTLY tell everyone what my experience was like to form my opinion of this place. So, I currently stop and pick up something from 702, 2 to 3 times daily. Sometimes it's more because I occasionally stop by and even say hello to the owner and staff because 702 is without a doubt another "locals" store. It reminds me of that old show Cheers, 🎶🎶 "Where everybody knows your name"🎶🎶 because the clerk's who work there, are very personable and I've noticed, each one of them make it a point to remember your name because you ALWAYS get a friendly greeting at the door, kind of like when your coming home. I would go back to 702 for just that reason alone because never ONCE, in my life has 7-Eleven, Circle K, or AM/PM ever gteeted me like that at the door BUT that's not the only reason I keep going here. They have excellent prices on many of there items that you can't find anywhere anymore. Like 2 cans of soda (Coke, Mtn Dew, Pepsi, A & W, etc) for only a dollar. Or you can buy one for just .50¢. I don't know another place in the world that will do that anymore because there not making anything selling them at that price. It's obvious that 702 does that completely for there customers because many of them don't have almost anything and probably couldn't afford them if they cost anymore than that. Which is another great thing about this company, I have seen them employ a few people that were homeless when 702 gave them a shot and because they stayed loyal, trustworthy and hard working they worked themselves back into life again and are currently doing very well. Much better than they were that's for sure and I don't know of many places, (if any at all) that when your beat down, sleeping outside and desperate for any kind of help, will give you a chance, especially like that. EVERYONE needs a job in life. A job cures many people of their fears, emotional insecurity and it builds things like self confidence and pride. All the while, if you look at the bigger picture, it's solely responsible for building back the economic community, it helps solve this cities ever growing homeless epidemic while putting money back into our community, it even helps our families re unite with each other. Locally owned very friendly. They take Western Union, money orders, EBT, bill pay, credit and debit cards, phone payment, low price here and low price cigarettes you can buy a pack of cigarettes for less than five bucks at that store. Been to slot of stores and 702 Mart is the best, convenience stores I've been looking for Cactus Cooler inmate I know that's random but if you notice and they also have the rules of the game Mexico Coke comma also very cheap...

I'm so done coming into this store. The cashier named Heather acknowledges my husband by his name all the time but not me. I'm called dear and I've told her my name a couple of times. This is so disrespectful and this is my opinion. My name is not Dear. I've learned her name but to no avail. You're done getting my money!!! 😡 I see this...
